    and this shows why its best to have closed primary.. this you might think looks cool but there is no reason at all to have this. the fat belt is not needed at all. and if your going t obe stupid and go off road then this needs to be got rid of and go to the proper closed in and covered stuff..

    DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. It's a SCAM. NOCO will not return my email request for support. Walmart will not allow return on it. It is"Non-returnable" And the NOCO website will not give you a refund if you bought it at walmart. Plus you have to pay 12 dollars recycling fee if you buy the little battery without an exchange MOST IMPORTANTLY NOCO says you will void the warranty if you try to charge it with anything other than THEIR chargers.

    I put 100+ft-Lb on my ol Shovel 3" primary with a small dab of loctite and i have a locking plate. The last thing you want is your inner case bearing walking.. never use red loctite on the splined shaft. My pully is BDL and very tight to get on anyway. Diffrent horses for diffrent courses. Good video and good to see you stayed on enough to save you and the bike. Nice scoot btw. Maybe chill more and keep the sunny side up appeaciate what you have and look after it.

    Very cool, I love the DIY mentality, I just purchased this same exhaust just because it was so cheap so whats to lose, when I had my sporty I had a 2 into 1 stainless exhaust (Twisted choppers) and the install instructions were rear pipe first then pull the front pipe in and believe me it kicked my ass, i just about threw the SOB across the yard, quick question is there a bracket that holds the pipe or just the header bolts? anyway cool bike and cool build.

  • @ScooterLee-ei1ep
    @ScooterLee-ei1ep Жыл бұрын

    Most do it for looks. But at one point and time all bikes had open primaries. A lot of us do it on custom bikes because our engine and transmissions were never used together in a production bike. My iron head has a shovel head trans. We cut the stock trans off after I blew it apart. Now I don’t have to worry about that happening.

    Easy maintenance, less mess and they are durable.also the bigest benefit if hou snap a belt it drops on the road no big deal or other damage. If you break a primary chain your up for huge $ and possibly a full rebuild if you live through the experience. Yes chains can break although it is rare. If a gearbox fails ie locks up it can snap a primary chain. When that chain all buckles up in that closed housing it could be a day out with the undertaker.

    These batteries have a very small capacity they won't run anything for a long time. They are very good at passing high current for starting an engine. It may well start a car but I would be worried as it is not designed for such a thing. Even the terminals on the top of the battery are not up to the job.
