What a terrible waste of money. To spend more money in an attempt to increase ridership won't work. It's throwing good money after bad.

I know news reporting isn’t always accurate, but that’s ridiculous. At least it’s a collector’s item.

The problem is the trolley has no real utility. The trolley is more or less a nostalgic novelty and the problem with things like this is people might ride it once and they're done. I enjoy nostalgic things but not at this type of expense to the tax payer. If I wanted take the trolley from the loop to forest park, then I need a way to get around forest park it's a big park and very spread out so unless forest park has a tram to get around the attractions No one is going to walk from the history museum to the zoo and to the art museum and back. If this trolley went from the loop to the central west end and back then they might actually have something.

The trolley line doesn't even show up in google maps or the transit app. Fixing that would probably help ridership.

I was arrested for the first time in my life in Missouri. Never in my life would I have believed the level of corruption that occurs in law enforcement in your state. I came to find out that my arrest officer took his own life about two years later.

Wow, Samantha Smugala is so unbelievably out of touch with reality if she thinks QR codes for coupons and her tracking everything you do is somehow an incentive for anyone.

Why can't we make Joe Edwards pay for it. Anyone else who thought this was anything other than a gimmicky boondoggle from day one can chip in also if they'd like.

Loved old Sportman' Park in St. Louis, so much character, also was fun to watch a game there. Of, course, we all thought that it was the 'house that Musial built'. Stan indeed was 'THE MAN'. Especially, at the plate, he and Ted Williams were the prototype 'great hitters'. Lou Brock, Curt Flood and Kenny Boyar brought fun and high excitement to every game! Thanks for all the memories in Sportman's Park...

People don’t want it! Why make them pay for an empty trolly? So much good could come from $50million in Delmar.

The first game I went to was early 60's at sportsman park, Cards vs Braves, sitting in the left field bleachers. Maybe 7 yrs. old. I think the name was changed to Busch stadium by then, before the later Busch stadium.

When I was a kid and something went wrong my mom and Dad said " This is going to drive me to Arsenal street" Arsenal Street meant the insane asylum. After it closed down and was just empty it was made into a Haunted House for Halloween !

I'm surprised that they didn't specifically mention the many German Bakeries in St. Louis and the German-style bake goods that they sold. Do you remember St. Louis' delicious Gooey Butter Cake? According to tradition, it was first made, by mistake, in a German bakery. I remember the German corner grocery store in our neighborhood in the 40's and 50's with a butcher shop in the back and jars of candy in front. They would accept empty Coke bottles for a few cents apiece. This was a great way for kids to earn spending money . . . for candy in the jars at the front of the store.
