Right there with you, buddy. Even though I was working out a ton last month, I was either staying the same weight or gaining. I’ve just been eating and eating and cooking way too huge of meals since we have to eat everything at home. So I just ate back all the calories I worked so hard to burn. Frustrating as hell! But I think it happens to everyone at some point and we’re all going through crazy times right now. Don’t be too hard on yourself, just flip that frustration into motivation if you can! I flipped a switch May 1 and I’m doing much better again. Watching how much I’m eating and staying away from all the sugar and junk. Walking 5k a Day in May (minus Sundays - rest day!). Getting outside for my walks helps so much with my mood and keeping me motivated. Stay strong 💪🏼 keep it up, you got this. You did it already you can get back into the swing of things.

Loved the ideas for at-home weights! We’ve been quarantined (except to the grocery store and walks around the neighborhood) since March 16th and it’s tough. Working out is what I’ve been looking forward to the most everyday but I need to get creative and mix it up 💪🏼 Stay safe!

Hey man, thanks for doing this video! I'm really happy to hear how you're feeling about your weight loss and the future of your weight loss. And thanks for the masssssssive shout out! I'm excited that you can see yourself being happy in the new body that you are working so hard to have... and that the progress you've seen so far is actually motivating you even more to keep going! I've lost about 13lbs so far (I'm waaay behind in my KZread videos though haha) and I'm starting to feel that same way. The way I'm feeling and looking is making me super happy and I'm totally more motivated now to keep going. Thanks again for making this... it's ever inspiring as always! Keep it up buddy! -Jamie

Hi Danny, have been following your posts on FB so thought I'd check out your channel. You are looking bloody well and it's truly remarkable what you have already achieved. It's interesting hearing your mindset at the different stages of your journey. I just watched your latest video on how you've gone off on a tangent with the heavy weights and that. Nothing wrong with that in my book, but I understand that your goal is to actually lose the weight so hear what your saying on maybe upping the cardio and doing less weight but more sets. I used to do the weights 15 years ago and it is really rewarding. You have inspired me to get back over the gym. Keep up the great work and all the best for your goals. Cheers bud 👍

Hello! New subscriber and I’ve been binge watching your channel (better than binge eating, isn’t it? 😂). I’m embarking on my own weigh loss journey and have some similar videos coming out. My husband is a little larger than your starting weight and I’m going to show your channel to him, too. Being man-to-man I think you can help motivate him. You’re motivating me as well. I wanted to comment on this video specifically because I can relate to what you’re saying here. I’ve never been thin except for a few years in high school maybe when I got down to about an “average” weight... but still never skinny. I think being overweight becomes so much a part of your identity that it does get a little scary to imagine that going away. Who am I if I’m not the fat, sarcastic girl? And growing up overweight, I admit I always hated the skinny, popular girls or people consumed with their looks. Looking back now, I used them as an excuse to stay fat. I didn’t want to be shallow like them. But in fact I’m sure I just wasn’t happy with myself and was coming up reasons to feel okay with not being accepted by the “popular skinny girls.” Now as an adult, a wife, a mom... my identity has changed anyway. Turning into a parent does that to a person! So although it is still strange to think of myself as not being overweight anymore... I still want to get there. I might end up having an identity crisis haha but I’ll always still be “mom” which is more how I see myself these days. I’d just rather be a “fit mom” than a “tired, drained, overweight unhealthy mom.” At the end of all this, you’ll still be you. Just a stronger new version of you. I know this video is a few months old so I’d love to hear how you’re feeling about it now that you’ve lost even more weight. Anyway, it’s great to connect with you and thank you for the motivating videos. You have a follower and a team member rooting for you out here in sunny Southern California, USA! 💪🏼🤜🏼🤛🏼👏🏼

A scale focus can often be more demotivating than motivating. You know you're doing good. You know you've got so much consistency, don't let that number completely throw you off course. You said the gym routine, nutrition, and sodium is all in order. But what about sleep and stress? Those are factors can affect any kind of weight "stall". Add to that, when you're in a weight cut for awhile (as you've been), it's not uncommon NOT to see a weekly drop. That doesn't mean it won't happen, so don't think progress isn't happening just because it's not moving so strictly linearly.

Good luck dude, I am trying again to lose weight/stay fit. About 5 years ago my health was at its worst, I had to lose the weight because my legs and arms were swelling up and it was so painful I was almost crying and I had something that looked like chickenpox on my legs. But over the years I started to put some weight back on, but I will never let it get back to the way my weight was. But it is still a struggle.

I found it difficult to find a substitute for a sandwich for breakfast especially at work but overnight oats give me a lot more energy and keep me feeling fuller for longer. First of all, 45 lbs in 3 months? That's HUGE progress! I know social media likes to make a big deal about crazy transformations in a month, but with anything extreme... it's usually unsustainable. And the other effect of those rapid weight loss images? They make people who've made great strides feel undermined. Next, what you're talking about imagining "future you"-- it kind of reminds me of body dysmorphia. I see is more in clients who've achieved the results but still can't shake seeing "past me" in the mirror. I'd imagine these might be related. But ultimately, I wanted to say keep it up. Keep your chin up. Remember fitness is not a world of absolutes. It's not pass or fail. Any routine and workout is merely a guide. It's all about getting in there and doing the attempts. So when you have doubts? Let's see. When you're unsure of whether you can actually achieve it? I think your boss gave you some good advice. Try (and I know that's easier said than done) to not dwell on that and keep putting in the effort. That doesn't mean you can't voice concerns. I think you creating a platform where you can air your grievances is great. Don't keep all that inside. Don't let it weigh you down.

@@thejourneyofweightloss6723 It's cool if it can happen like that, just don't want people to get disappointed when the weight loss is in the single digits in a month. They think they're not moving forward when they totally are. Keep on keepin' on, brother!
