It really was incredible, it took my by surprise when it started coming from all directions not just looking North!

Thats interesting, you can see how the isolated proton aurora blobs also emit red light at highet altitudes. I've seen it from northern italy and I thought it was just green because the red proton aurora pillars weren't noticeable with the normal red auroral glow behind them.

If you can follow it to the pupa stage, you could make an awesome stop motion of the process to emerging as an elephant with moth wings!! :)

Thank you. There's a few sea safari companies around north and south Cornwall (and a couple in Devon I think) which seem to see Dolphins every time they go out.
