Let's be clear about what 'rip off' actually means. Throwing that term around implies a lack of creativity or intent to blatantly copy, which is both unfair and misleading. Similarities often stem from shared influences or DELIBERATE homage to earlier works, which is natural. Dismissing these as 'rip-offs' ignores the complexity of how BMTH blends and reshapes their inspirations. It's not just about 'borrowing' it's about recontextualizing those elements to create something genuinely fresh (In which, they objectively did). Honestly, none of these examples even come close to being 'rip-offs' in the first place. It seems like you went into this review/reaction with the sole purpose of finding minor similarities to label as rip-offs, possibly to sound clever or make things seem worse than they are. It comes off as if you are just trying to put others down... The review itself was good (Not that I exactly agreed with what you said), but it's not ethically right to mislabel something just because you've redefined a word to suit your narrative. Do better.

The opera singer is Caroline Joy. My interpretation is that the vocals kind of fulfil three characters in the story which is why she is so high in the mix. She's an actual character rather than just flavor to the songs

Hey dude! Thanks for checking it out, I appreciate your comments and takes for sure. I also want to clear up the album is not about Adams sister, I wrote the lyrics about a few topics that are based in fact and fiction BUT there are lots of negative connotations in the lyrics and I don’t want people to get the wrong idea about the story or lyrics especially around Adam or his sister. Thanks again dude!
