I like it a lot. Compares to a Selene or a nordhavn for much less money Imp
Much better than a Selene for the money
Cool. Love these boats.
😍👏👏👏
Sure nice to get those down so easily. Vyer handy if needed.
Love these videos. Can you please do one in rougher water though? Love the hull color on the 38E. Our next boat:-)
Hi Kirk - Good thinking. It's on our to-do list.
Wonderful boats! A good move going to the hard top on the 43. Love the double wide transom doors- when sitting in the cockpit it feels like you’re sitting at the water’s edge.
A few thoughts (after 6 years with a Helmsman 43): Hard top - I like it, looks great and a good place for solar. No side decks- there is no way I would give up the full beam saloon and associated extra living space. The lack of side decks has not limited us in any way, and that includes 1,000 hours of cruising, hundreds of days on different mooring balls and anchoring, in and out of marinas, and often solo. Forward rake pilot house windows - they work, and look sharp like the old school trawlers these boats get their pedigree from.
Very Nice!!
No fuel polishing system?
When in actuality it is the MOST important place on your vessel.
We're hoping to order one next year. I just noticed in the video from the flybridge you cannot see your bow. We need to sea trail, that could be a major issue docking. I suppose you just jump to the lower helm when coming in.
The lower helm is the superior location for lots of reasons while docking - good visibility toward rear, good visibility forward, easy communication with line handlers, etc. Some boats don’t provide a good view from below, while docking - this is not one of those.
Well, I see the Asian workers so I assume China?
Are these USA or China made?

Very nice!
Nice Drone flying and I like the soundtrack.
Wow. I assumed this was a diesel duck. I am a fan.!!! I want one😁😎
Lekker man lekker 🇿🇦
Stunning!
Thank you! 😊
Does Helmsman use any ultrasonic anti-foul systems?
This is probably my favorite boat and next year 🎉I’m buying one !
Beautiful boat but no cockpit.
Lekker man lekker 🇿🇦🇿🇦

Stunning, I have a Beneteau Swift Trawler 34 and your finishing is on another level 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I saw the US plugs, do you ever make a fitment with UK based sockets? I can’t remember what voltage USA works on
I can see me hanging out on that boat.
What is the bridge clearance of the 46E * without hardtop? *
What's the bridge clearance * without the hardtop?*
No price? Then it is not to be trusted, whatever this man says
They had their ducks in a row when building this engine room.
Need a video of the 43e
I would drop a yanmar
To short.. You could have covered hulls a bit more. I found that much intriguing Thanks
Of all the electrical components in the helm, which ones communicate the best? I like Garmin. What is the loaded height of the 38E on highway trailer? I would like to have it shipped or haul myself on 18 wheeler? I have an Edge Chip in my 3500 Dodge, why could that not be utilized for short high speed runs to avoid or escape danger?
Impressive set up! Well thought out for accessability, layout, clean lines, and freedom of personal movement.
Any way to get a lithium ion battery bank and have inverter-powered AC? This boat is awesome! Lots of room for solar on pilot house roof...
My first look at these boats. Great looking and functional. I would love one.
I looked at one with 250 gallons of fuel and 250 HP. What kind of range are you getting? Thank you
This is my job. Actually i made 2 sanlorenzo models. 96 and 106 feet
Very Nice...Thank you Scott and Lisa!
I am impressed by the Quality of work gone into Helmsman Trawlers. Is there any way you can provide a 2 engine option to get the speed to 25 Plus Knots? and use one engine if the boat is used on a longer voyages? I was trying to compare this to Sargo 36 Fly and speed is the area i thought there can be an option.. Thank you..
Nice. Any free samples?
I like the layout of the furnace.
Where is this manufacture process conducted?
Looks like Seattle WA
Sign me up, very nice trawlers
You say the Helmsman 31 hull is different. How? It appears one difference is hard chines. Comments on the 31 hull performance characteristics would be appreciated. Nice video and series, by the way.
Good series of Vids Scott. This one in particular was very interesting and good timing as I am currently reading D Gerrs book on hull shapes.
That is one good looking 43 Hull!
Yours, Admiral _S. Hope you're enjoying it in its completed form!
@@scotthelker2695 Thanks Scott, We absolutely love it!
More videos coming! Lots to say about Helmsman Trawlers, and now some extra time to put these together. Thanks for watching.
