People that drive rvs over the 18 ft range need to take a truck test.
How much empty space on top the cells with the lid on?
Solar Supply House
Did you put a bms into the box with the cells? I’m thinking of doing the same
A JBD or Daly BMS fits easily into the box. I build these all the time for my clients without any problems at all.

Awesome thank you. I was gonna build one but the total for the parts would be around 500$ the same as an already built one.
Just what I was looking for
I drive like I am walking on a trail deep in the forest. Always look far ahead, sideways and even backwards for bears and other surprises!
RVs, including trailers, are horribly built and cannot withstand even minor impacts as shown here. There are manufacturers who build quality RVs but they are few and far between and are NOT the big names of the industry. Back in 2019 I sought a teardrop camp trailer and after an exhaustive search found a small manufacturer who's build methods are like those employed in yacht manufacturing not the RV industry. Invest the time and money to find a quality manufacturer! PS - you won't find one a Camping World!
Ouch!
No federal safety standards in a class A motor home . Spend that kind of money, get a super C motor home !
You could of seen that Truck a mile away, besides there was another one in front of him.
Match sticks and staples. Buy a van.
How did you not see a Hugh 18 wheeler on stopped???
Truck had his emergency flashers activated, pay attention!
Ever stand on an aluminum can, we’ll, there you have it
Not paying attention.
A friends mother used to say to us when we were children: "Watch what you're doing!".
so how much does used solar panels cost these days 😂🤣😅🤣😂
Good thing it still has a Warranty!
I’m sorry for you but, You had loads of time to see the truck and slow down, change lane. The truck did not do an emergency stop. On the plus side watching this video has convinced me not to spend $250,000 on an RV. It’s totally cured me from wanting one. It’s just a paper mache box with an engine!
Confused… are the videos we are looking at your POV headset? I would buy a better brand.
Yeah, I sure hate it when SEMI TRUCKS magically appear out of nowhere on a sunny day.
“Jammed on its brakes…” is irrelevant. You are supposed to be able to stop regardless. Not plow into the back of someone. Following to close is very complacent. The person could be doing handstands in their vehicle - if they stop you should hav enough spacing for reaction time to safely ring your vehicle to a halt. No getting out of this when you hit someone in their arse.
Thank you for being an idiot. Watch the other video.
nothing but an over price POS tin can on wheels
Balsa wood and cardboard put together with Emerson kids glue. smh
No worries mate. That outa buff right out with our new FIX IT RIGHT products. Just call WOW-YER- DUMB for more info.😂
If you crash into anybody ahead of you it is your fault for not seeing the stopped vehicle in time. period
Absolutely untrue. If the vehicle ahead of you is doing unsafe practices or intentionally soliciting a crash it can be determined it's their fault. This has been determined legally uncountable times. Or What about weather, ice, fog or clouds? All can be contributing factors that are not the fault of the driver. I am not saying this is what happened, but one should never speak in absolutes. PERIOD!
RV’s are constructed of an outer layer of flattened coke cans, 1.5 inches of styrofoam for that extra insulation, and lauan. That’s it.
that RV driver is an idiot
This guy drives about as well as he places his cameras.
The music junked another video 👎👎👎👎👎👎💩💩😬
This is what happens when you put a car driver behind the wheel of a large vehicle, they still think there in a car. It's not a phuckin race !!! Slow down you're not going to get anywhere any faster. The first violation of pushing the guy out of his lane wasn't bad enough then clips the semi. What a nightmare. As a truck driver with over a million miles I don't trust people in cars, RV's, U-hauls or other truck drivers the roads are full of idiots.
They probably don't trust you either. I would not for your judgment, without facts.
Wood glue and putty should do it.
Gotta keep 100% concentration on what is going on ahead and anticipate every option.
Going too fast; not paying attention....
A styrofoam lined coffin.
Nice try blaming it on the trucker, the fact is you were driving too fast in that right hand lane, not paying attention and instead of doing an emergency break you tried to swerve. This what happens when you take a vehicle that way almost as much as a lightly loadedsemi, and put somebody behind the wheel with a regular class drivers license.
clearly the r.v. driver's fault. following too close. u should always give yourself enough cushion in case a driver in front of you has to brake hard for whatever reason(s).
A Jayco doesn't respond like a car or even a large SUV. Jayco driver is just as much to blame for careless driving habits
The driver of the black truck/trailer had his emergency flashers ON to warn upcoming traffic that he was at a complete stop. Obviously the RV driver is at fault (Claiming to not wanting to hit the white car, yet he clearly goes into that lane in a panic mode. RV's need special care while driving them, I've been a full time Class A RV driver (Live in one) for 11 years and traveled all over the Western United States and Alaska. Hopefully his insurance is with a reputable company.
The problem with a lot of drivers today is they don’t look ahead.
The holiday's over then?
the "spooky/ intense" background music didn't make this video any more exciting
If you had drunk 6 bottles of whiskey you couldn’t have driven that RV any worse. A clear perfect day and you still did everything wrong.
Ah found it. Not sure I can link but search for "I-5 RV crash in Everett".
Also worth noting the semi truck did not show skidmarks leading to its position, and it clearly has its emergency flashers on as the RV driver does his emergency maneuver. That's not a semi truck suddenly stopping, it's a trucker that has had the time to come to a halt in a controlled fashion displaying brake lamps for following traffic, AND even had the time to turn on his emergency flashers to warn following traffic. Bummer all around - be safe folks.
Yes, Flashers came on at the last second. In addition, nobody seems to mention the White Truck ahead of the Blue truck that Brake Checked him, making the blue truck do a panic stop. The white truck fled the scene within twenty seconds of the impact about and four seconds after I limped around him to the side of the Road. The white truck saw it all and did not bother to check for injuries, fatalities or offer help. He just ran. The driver of the blue truck confirmed this. There is more to what happened besides the video.
@@SolarSupplyHouse Wow - so something nefarious from the white truck - perhaps uncalled for panic from a merging car due to his inattention, etc. Glad you tuned in as I wanted to ask something of you in terms of injuries as I used to be a product developer for OEMs and safety was always my calling card. It looked like the driver's seat had some gear and such in and on it - how did you fare as to injuries? It looked like the RV's A pillar just disintegrated and perhaps things above the front seats came down? Or was that tossed in later. Also, you did WAY better in your maneuvering than another recent (I-5 I think) RV impact where the driver completely lost control after a minor graze and heavily contacted the K barrier. There was no followup on that video but looked like serious injury was part of the outcome. So, kudus on your handling - these things are generally very poor in emergency evasive maneuvers and you kept yours pointed in the right direction and on its wheels.
No hazard lights, no cones, no flares... sue the crap out of the trucking company.
I drive a school bus. This accident was completely avoidable. Reckless driving in a motorhome as if you are a car has consequences. And a Precept is extreme entry level bottom of the barrel quality in an A class. A C class with proper automotive safety features will at least protect the front passengers better.
Clear visibility and vehicle spacing should have prevented this accident. You didn't react fast enough to avoid the collision and rear ended the truck. Your fault. I'm sure that the insurance company was very happy to have the video evidence of your negligence.
Good example of why RV drivers of these mega busses need to have a CDL license !
100% DRIVER'S error!!!
