  I mean he isnt wrong, but i think its more of a preference on what mediam one uses for making music. It really doesn't matter aslong as your able to make music with it. Madlib is natorious for being the best sampler, producer, crate digger of all time. He made "bandana" on an ipad. So i get the importance of the old ways, but dont dumb down the new ways tho.

  I don't use FL, because you'll get trapped in FL. now don't get me wrong, FL is a very versatile and powerful tool. just make sure to practice on another daws.
