See the bell ringing up wrong cause of the headstock joint. It’s all the way down not that much but yeah. And the clapper joint a little up. So it’s balancing wrong got it?

I my dad Ernest J Rowe and Bill Theobald hung Bow in 1961. I remember going up to Bow on the try out night in 1961 I was 8 years old . It a bit of a spiritual place for me which I don't expect t nobody could understand except me.

The bell you see in the middle is the 7th, the tenor is on the far right. They had wheels before 1976. The set was put in the tower in 1791. The bells where re-hung with new wheels and other bits in 1976

A leather pad is fitted to one side of the clapper ball which is secured with velcro around the shaft just above the ball and on the flight just below the ball. We have little blocks wedged in the fame so we can use them as steps to get in and out of

It is very cramped and the bells only just fit. For context, one of the beams has a section cut out to allow the tenor to fit. I'd say about 10 by 10 meters from each side of the octogan.
