Symbolic of going back to the womb of Danu Mother Earth to be reborn as part of the land. Not a bad deal. 😊

Just like the silly love locks on all the bridges. Eventually compromising the bridge with all the extra weight it adds. Seen many old wooden bridges that have had to be closed and maintenance re done on them due ti the weight. Then the coin stumps i see on so many of our lovely scottish trails and forests. Its sad to see, and when you try and say to folk not tondo this. They just ignore you.

Well done my man! Reverse osmosis metal poisoning isn't exactly off the cards here.. Severely P****S me off when people done it to sculptures in the woods, let alone mere stumps!

  • @scotlandsstories626

@2MangosAL2 Similar ages for sure, but Orkney is seen as the centre of that period of civilisation. So apparently archaeologists know the first standing stones were raised in Orkney at Stenness for example!

I know of a few drunk lads who put a cat in the microwave at a house party. I'm not sure if there was any ritualistic purposes, more likely got fed up with cat hair in their drinks 🫣

Did you all hear that it's an ancient Scots wishing tradition that if you want a wish to come true, just offer a local a blowjob and a pint. Totally true, works 100% of the time, and it has almost zero environmental impact.
