  I recently moved to the Central Coast from Sydney, and was concerned to hear about the council’s financial situation via the news. This is a fantastic summary and has reassured me that it is being extremely well navigated. Thank you Rik, for this very transparent and detailed summary. This shows true accountability and in fact should be the standard so communities are not left in the dark. I see a great future ahead if we all work united, it’s a beautiful region with such remarkable potential. How can one best get involved to support this new direction of the central coast council?

  I can't believe that the walk is being compromised by deleting the bridge out of stage two. The bridge would be the focal point of the walk and a great tourist attraction. I find it very disappointing that the project is heading this way.

  It is clear to see large areas of native vegetation has been cleared. The stairs are not of a constant depth and are uncomfortable to walk down. The joy of a bush-walk and the natural ground beneath your feet and connection to nature is gone on the stairway section. Concreting coast bushland is not infrastructure. The original plan was for a 'bush trail' some how it turned into concrete stairs and proposed is vehicle access and market stalls. Such a shame!
