I appreciate how this video clearly communicates that the manure gas can be perfectly well applied right on the farm.

OK we all know about microturbines for this use, which are surely less expensive up front, and also less efficient. Therefore I, for one, would appreciate an apples-to-apples comparison of these two technologies for using the manure gas on-site. Because this is the question in everyone's minds.

I have a question about moat . What happens if some other companies come up with similar solutions for cheaper, or better energy storage solutions? What if there’s some Chinese or Indian companies out there imitating or creating similar but cheaper solutions?

I'm following Bloom Energy Fuel Cells since 2001. I wrote to them about availability for the Residential Markets, however, it was not at the time, I never saw anything of them again, and I had to do a search to find them, which wasn't too hard.

First of all, a small 5kw system that runs on hydrogen would make more sense than 50kw banks to get the technology out in the market. Secondly, I think with the power density of your system or potential power would be enough to sustain a reaction to split ionized water to hydrogen and also have enough power to be made useful depending on the flow of gas needed and if thats a factor. Either way, it's not a good look to be exclusively catering to the rich, especially with such an important innovation. You could be known worldwide in every home by now, it just makes no sense.

if theyve been around since 2001 and have been making a profit after all this time, that's gotta be something worth noting, besides, gas will inevitably go up whereas this can be further researched to make it more affordable

I was wondering about those numbers. It was stated that all diaries which use it can provide over a million house holds. That sounds like a lot. Does that mean they produce more energy then they consume themselves. This farm stated using 8m kW per year. That's about 769 house hold equivalent, when on average a household uses 30kwh per day and around 10400 per year

Stop with all the arm movement. All these speakers think they need to emphasize their speeches with moving their limbs and pointing and circling their arms and putting their hands together then separating them again. It's not natural it's not giving me any inclination to trust speakers who can't just be themselves and let the information be convincing. Persuasion is a red flag. They are selling you something. Politicians do it. CEO's do it. Evangelists do it. Dictators do it.

It would be nice for him to plainly state why a Bloom Server cannot be sold to residential homes. I would guess that the server can produce a steady amount of power; however, it can't handle startup and shutdown being high temperature. Furthermore, I suspect it isn't more efficient than a Methane Electricity Power Plant used as a "peaker plant". Someone should ask him why Tesla is using diesel generators at the Super Charger sites and not Bloom Servers.

In order to tackle climate change, we’re going to need a mixture of both solid oxide fuel cells like blooms traditional stuff, and hydrogen fuel cells. Both for commercial and aircraft. The trick is creating hydrogen from seawater, that doesn’t compete with freshwater sources or supplies, and is only made from renewables, That way it could be transported like natural gas (just compressed hydrogen, except we need better pressure vessels, mainly ones that use graphene carbon fiber)

A 1MW MBH (German) Internal Combustion Engine assembled in China with all guarantees goes for $270k + Shipping. How much does a 1MW-producing (from biogas) Bloom “energy server” cost? Need to know in how many years the higher efficiency of the fuel cell will have covered the extra cost of purchasing it. Thanks!

I have shares of BE (Bloom). I'm telling people this is a stock you want to have as H2 infrastructure expands. There's going to be a global shift to hydrogen to get away from fossil fuels due to climate change which is really going to ramp up during this El Nino. Early June briefly saw 1.5C globally, a threshold temp. experts predicted sometime in the next 5 years, but it already happened. Go Bloom!

What is the cost per KWH. What is the longevity of a cell or stack? Frequently refining sand can create carbon too. 65 million cells producing 25 watts each is a 1.63 million watt capacity. Given 2 billion kWh that less than 1250 hours of energy production all things equal. That's not much up time over the last couple years. This has to actually work to work. If it does, which hopefully it will, then great! But will it will have to start working before the money runs out.
