Great video Jason. Thanks. This is my next purchase for my beloved Z6. I would expect that the extra weight should also help with traction on slopes. You could also fill those bars with sand or concrete for a few more pounds. I live on a sloped lot and definitely need all the help I can get with traction. I see a marked improvement on slopes when I have the leaf catch attached.

Unexpected for us both! I thought it would be a simple review since I hadn't found a good review video when I was thinking about buying one. So I promised myself that if I did, I'd make an honest video about it. Well...kinda typical for me...one improvement spawned another. When I went to edit the video, it was a lot bigger than I had planned...which also may or may not be typical for me. 🤣 Glad you liked it. BTW...I checked...no issues on the stamped concrete at all after MANY fires in it on the Cuisinart Firepit stand. This thing is a winner.

Haven't seen this one before. Nice classy design. As you say, I like the bowl shape to help the wood feed itself as it burns down. In any fire pit, if the wood gets much above the secondary air holes you are more apt to get some smoke coming off.

I just purchased this, and also mainly because of the tray which I assumed would make cleanup a breeze, but per your video here, it's kinda pointless. The smokeless style fire pits are supposed to burn super hot where all wood is completely burned only leaving ash, in which case the tray would be ideal. But if it's still leaving chunks of wood/charcoal, then you still have to clean out the main area so not much point in the ash tray in terms of cleaning ease : /

@@grahamkuehner6697 Kind of. I got a fire going, and then it added pellets. It took more effort to keep the fire going by just putting the wood pellets , I think the design of the bag that tiki makes is pretty important so next time I will try to replicate their bags and see if that works better. Either way, we still like our firepit.

I found I can start the bulk TSC pellets just fine. It’s adding more pellets where the issue of lots and lots of smoke arises. Until the pellets light. Even just a small amount of additional pellets to an already red hot and flaming fire usually results in smoke until the added pellets ignite. Currently researching the best way to add more bulk pellets to an existing fire to keep it going all night…
