Hi, Todd and Ashlie! I just watched TAR 35 as my first season and was totally hooked by it, especially the very first episodes as I was born and raised in Bangkok. When I was a kid, I swam in the canal and stepped on the muddy and creepy ground like that so I totally feel you in that challenge 😅 Glad that you both enjoyed your time immersing into the locals, language and culture too 😊 thanks for the video.
Super serious comment here ; You guys are great BTW. I am auditioning for my 5th time with a coworker of 17 years. I see this video is over 3 minutes, how rigid do you feel is the 3 minute limit of the videos? I know when you submit is asks to keep them right at 3. But then I see some audition videos are 6! Then, How did you get it down to the 30MB file size limit and still keep it decent quality? Thanks!!
We tried to keep it short sweet and to the point. They don’t want a super long video. So try and edit it to where it highlights your story and personality… make them curious and wanting to know more. We just uploaded / sent via google drive

I gotta admit I wasn't planning on watching "The Amazing Race" but when I turned it on and watched that first episode you guys made it enjoyable and fun to watch and I couldn't wait for the next episode and soon I found myself counting down the days until Wednesday night, and the fact that we went to high school together was the cherry on top. It was really fun watching you two and hope to see you guys again on the show.

You guys are awesome! Todd's comment at the end of the episode brought me to tears. Thanks for taking us on this journey with you! Also, from watching Rob and Corey's recap videos, Corey didn't want to help Steve and Anna Leigh...but Rob saw them jumping on the bus and immediately ran after...if you watch, it seems the only time Corey was behind his Dad instead of in front, I imagine he was hoping the bus would take off but when the bus waited for them then he helped and like another comment above said Steve and Anna Leigh helped them find the right door to get into the violin. Either way you guys were a fantastic team and I thoroughly enjoyed watching you compete!
Todd & Ashlie…you guys are couple goals 😩❤️ that Stockholm episode had me stressed because I wanted you guys to win so bad you didn’t get eliminated because you were screwing up badly on a challenge or because you got terribly lost. Time wasn’t on your side and the leg being as linear as it was didn’t do you any favors 😢 either way you guys ran a good race and we’re strong team.

I just had to comment on your frustration with Rob & Cory, I was surprised too (and of course we may not be able to trust the edit) but the reason why I thought they helped Steve & Annaleigh was because Steve and Annaleigh helped them find the violinist right before this (they were running around the building thinking the doors were looked), so it was a reciprication

Hello Todd and Ashley, it's really sad to see you got eliminated this season. You make this season so much better with all the goofiness and how you complement each other. And the recape showed more about that. Thank you for all the great time you brought to us. And everyone loves a comeback story, especially for unfinished business.
Thank you so much for your hilarious and adorable personal recap videos and thank you so much for being vulnerable and sharing really tough moments. I was super bummed you fell in the back even after the reset, but please don't be hard on yourselves. You were competing with such strong teams, and it really could have been anyone of you who didn't make it. I mostly fault Amazing Race production for not having more UTurns and other mechanics to throw teams off. For instance, Greg and John should not have been able to maintain their lead several episodes in a row. Anyway, I know you two spark joy in the people in your life, and they are lucky to have you in it. So, thanks again for sharing a bit of that with the rest of us. I'll definitely be keeping my eye out for you two in future CBS/Amazing Race content! Take care.

John and Greg also shared that their taxi driver in Stockholm started driving in the wrong direction, resisted letting them look on his phone for directions, and kept arguing he was right. Maybe the taxi drivers wanted to run up their fares?

Pro tip: When asking for directions, always inquire whether the person is from the city you are in. Most of the people on the streets of Ljubljana appeared to be tourists. 😉 I believe the Pivka Cave was deliberately chosen as the destination because the city of Pivka is situated 15 km in the opposite direction when exiting the highway. They likely anticipated that some teams would mistakenly head there. 🤔

Yes!! The ceilings were incredibly low so while we were trying to run, Todd was constantly ducking down to avoid hitting his head.
