MC-i4 for RTK corrections thru local base or Topnet live cellular. This was a new style MC-R3 that didn’t include internal radio. We interfaced the CAT controller through CAN communication. To turn Auto on click left trigger button once to turn autos off click left trigger 3 times.

@@cjfplanthire9377 We use the Cat Dozer Breakout A CAN cbl You connect the CAN wires into the attachments CAN circuit. I’ll reply with more details below:

For the install you will want to have a male and female 12 pin Deutsch plugs with the correct pins. We installed that on the front of the machine by the hydraulic quick connects and the 14 pin machine attachment harness connection. This will be your point of disconnect for the GX-55 inside the cab. CAN connection to the attachment and machine setting’s see below Located under top cover on the attachment you will find Cat 4 pin cat connector (L857 and L858) Basically match up the Yellow green to ours Cat CAN interface valve type CAN Input switch type Left trigger auto on Left trigger 3 clicks auto off For 3D control and 2D dual function put attachment mode into Tandem setting For 2D slope with manual elevation use right or left depending on which side you are using for manual

Awesome, we have been trying to set one of these up in NZ, How did you wire in the 9060-5266 (AUX valve cable) to the breakout plug? did you use Breakout A or B? you wouldn't happen to have to part number for the breakout you used or the pinout at the MCR3 end. Thanks in advance!

Any idea what a Blade IMU Electro-mechanical fault would indicate. It's on the 3d auto grade and keeps it red and will not engage. Auto blade was fine before, I have so far look at the wiring from the 3dmc box at the blade up to the front all the wiring looks normal and was snug.

Can you do this with the new X series sensor that replaced the MCR3? The dealer here says we can’t use tracker jacks with a mastless system. I’d love to have a 2D/3D system with tracker jacks if possible

Unfortunately, this is a 3D only system, 3D-MC Wheel loader code currently doesn't support 2D functionality.

I’ve got a 700k John Deere with a GX-60 computer and it says 3dmc2 sensor not connected so I did this and ran the diagnostics using the tap the 3dmc logo 3 times like in your other video and all I can come up with is IMU not connected. Any ideas?

Check coil cables to back of sensor from the dozer to the blade. If connections are good could be a bad cable or sensor

@@MachineControlHackers ok will do. We have 3 cat machines with gps and one John Deere and every time a thumb drive is put in the Deere’s computer it seems to have problems that day none of the others are problematic.

I wired machine 12v power to the center of each rocker switch. The other two poles of the switch are wired to raise lower right and left of the attachment. The manual override worked in and out of auto

To get custom to show up as a option for a Max or Mast-less system you will need to select middle of blade as the antenna mounting position.

I missed why you are changing the variable thumb controls to that config. the bob cat would have those control on each stick by default no? I usually run a grader not the blade (blade just sits at the shop unused )

The harness has several den connectors options on the switch valve side. Depending on what den connector you plug in, changes the buttons on the bobcat joystick. “You can set it up your combo buttons the way you want to basically by switching connectors at the manifold”
