Our 4 bed 5 bathroom house with a pool is $800. Looks lovely! Also, CELTA is preferred. Ceiling fan will keep it cool. Balcony looks good for staring at neighbors. 😂 See you around, I am sure. Be well!

Nice place
Absolutely beautiful. Especially the dark wood .Thank you for your videos🙏🏼
Great job thanks ❤
Thank you for watching our videos 🙏🏼
Great video again Mike & Linda!! When you mentioned that the Hotel accepts visa, ABA etc, it made me think. Maybe a video about CASH. Which cards work/accepted, where to get cash exchanged at the best rate, ATM's etc etc
Credit cards acceptance is not that common here so though that was a highlight. Thank you for watching our videos. We appreciate you.🙏🏼
What a grand hotel. The woodwork is so detailed and beautiful. Thanks for bringing this to us Linda and Mike.. Cheers!
Wow! That’s gorgeous! I want to visit that place for sure. Thank you for sharing the information! Awesome channel for Siem Reap info!!🙏🇰🇭
Thank you brother😎
❤❤❤😂😂😊😊😊did u try the bed???
No way is that place acceptable! No night stands or lamps. No TV. Just an empty room with a bed. The kitchen. What a joke. No hot water kettle or microwave. Whatever you paid for this unfurnished hotel room was too much. The owners are NOT prepared for guests and should not be open.
TVs in Cambodia I only have Khmer channels. We have a new video coming out soon with a more expensive apartment and a couple weeks. Stay tuned. Thank you for watching our videos. We appreciate you.🙏🏼🇰🇭
WOW AMAZING BROTHER
Thank you so much 🙏🏼 Linda did an amazing job putting everything together. Thank you for watching our videos.❤️🇰🇭
Surprised you didn’t mention the price for the tuktuk to/from the airport. Guessing $15
Yes that is correct 👍
Congrats on 1,000 subscribers!
Thank you!! We appreciate your comment 🙏🏼

1kg for $7.50! Wow 🤩 Beautiful Khmer dresses for to take pictures at Angkor Wat! Worth the $20 to $25. I never knew this place existed either! Great find and thanks for the information! As also, fun and entertaining. Will visit for sure! Thanks for sharing !
Thank you brother 🙏🏼
Great video Linda!! My fav video topics are accommodation, resturants, and road side BBQ. Any info on medical insurance and vaccinations would be appreciated too!

Thanks for these videos. Retired single (and loving it) guy moving to SR in October when my lease runs out here in Jomtien Beach, Pattaya. I lived in Chiang Mai for a year and SR looks like I imagine CM to have looked 25 years ago. And far less visa hassles than here.
Just subscribed. Price is nice but didn't care for the lack of view nor the tiny fridge.
You will love Siem Reap. Thailand is losing a lot of expats to Cambodia because of the new visa rules there we hear. Thailand is also easy to get to from Siem Reap by air or bus. So you get the best of both worlds. Thank you for watching our videos 🙏🏼
Thank you for subscribing. Most apartments are $50 to $259 depending on your needs. You should have no problem finding what you want at 150 range. Grab a place for a month get settled then evaluate what side of town you want. A year lease will save you money. Welcome to Cambodia 🙏🏼
Visas here are way less hassle! Welcome to SR!
New subscriber from Italy. Relocating to Cambodia January next year. Any information would be most welcome 🙏 Plan to spend 1 month in PP to handle business visa, banking, etc. After, we are torn between SR, Kompot, Battembang or Mondulkiri. Thank you for you informative information 😁
Welcome to the Mahoney Travels Family. Thank you for subscribing. We appreciate you. Feel free to check out our facebook at Mahoney Travels for daily updates and feel free to reach us through messenger with any questions. Welcome to Cambodia 🙏🏼
Where in Siem Reap is this restaurant located at?
We always leave google maps location in description in every video with contact info when available. Here it is Mealea Watbo Siem Reap maps.app.goo.gl/xXUBZaLT1jpEDV7o9?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy thank you for watching our videos 🙏🏼
Oh ok, thank you 🙏 🙏
Your videos while informative are too long, you should mention how much the water and electricity costs
Thank you for your feedback. The water will run $5 or less a month for normal usage. Electric will run 1000 Riel or .25 cents per kilowatt hour. Thank you for watching our videos🙏🏼
Great restaurant
Yes it really is . It’s a testament to the variety of food options you will find right here in Siem Reap. Thank you for watching our videos 🙏🏼
👍🏽
Thank you for watching our channel and the whole video 😎
Hello Mike! My wife and I are considering moving back to Cambodia. Your KZread videos show how affordable it is there! We're interested in living in Siem Reap. I wanted to let you know that my wife and I have subscribed to your channel as well.
Thank you to you and your wife for the feedback and subscribes . Welcome back to Cambodia. 🙏🏼
We have lived in PP and SR and prefer SR so far.
These apartments don’t have a lot of living area, so they do not suit us. I work from home, so it’s a bit small.
Everybody has different needs. We spent a lot of time at one of the cafés where they have air-conditioning during the day and we use their Wi-Fi for free and also gets this out of our room Linda and I are digital nomads too though we appreciate a small space in Cambodia because electricity is so expensive. There is no central air in Cambodia so each room has its own air con. Standard at every home and apartment. We have many more apartment reviews coming soon so hopefully you will find one that works for you. We run aircon at night to sleep only . Standard rates are 25 cent per kilowatt hour here for context . Thanks for watching our videos. We appreciate you.🙏🏼
What is the name of the hotel 🛏️🏨 you didn't give it thanks.
The Golden Temple Hotel. Tell the manager Mr. Soeum Say Mahoney Travels sent you you🙏🏼
Subscribed Audio ….none the some……could hear you well at the end Could see you talking but no audio …
Thank you for the subscription. We appreciate you. Linda and I watched an audio seems OK except for the slight buzzing. We will pay attention to see if others have the same issue and if so, will see what we can do.🙏🏼
Having viewed many videos on rooms - $250 is high for that room no table and chairs, tv, sitting area or utensils. Frankly, $150 is about all it would warrant. Cheap as chips! Thus, you could buy a few bits and bobs still come out ahead.
These rooms do come with all of that. We had to film in between guests moving out and in they are move in ready and fully furnished. Just bring your luggage 🙏🏼 150 month is the studio /1 bedroom price. Thank you for watching our channel 😎
@@Basman59 I agree
$2,800/month in USA
Could you add "Buy you a coffee" link to your videos, since super Thanks keeps a large percentage of what's donated...Linda loves her coffee lol
Thank you! www.buymeacoffee.com/mahoneytravels We also have a Patreon page and many more links in the description area of video. for more ways to support. Thank you for your support and watching our videos🙏 We appreciate you.
Haha. You promised your next video would be a good one and you didn't disappoint. Can you just clarify if all the rooms that are 150 have a bedroom or if some of them are studios? Also, in future videos when doing these kind of tours would you be able to a tell us the rough square footage of the units if you can get that information? It would be helpful to compare across the different properties. And I'm sure you know but when you're listening with headphones it still goes in and out of coming through just one earpiece or both at times. No biggie but it would be a slight improvement. Finally, just want to say thank you so much because this is helping me solidify my plan to move over there 10 months from now. It will actually be feasible for me. Edit: I'm locked in at a great price here of $1180 a month with small rent controlled increases but I'd be living on less than that over there. Amazing!
Thank you. Linda and I appreciate you. As an American I would consider these studios at the 150 price. Rough guess are 650 to 750 sq ft. They did have a bedroom door on the 2 bedroom however It was rented at time of filming. As far as sq ft I have yet to see anyone in Cambodia know this including our own apartment.😂 I would say perfect size for single guy or gal or a couple. The ground floor studios have private patio great for grilling food. We are still working out the audio issues 🙏 Thanks for the feed back.
@@mahoneytravels My pleasure but It's you that's made me determined to move over there now. I lived in China for 8 years so I'm under no illusion that things are going to be easy, but at least now I know it is definitely doable. Look forward to whatever you have coming next.
8 years in China then you are more than ready for Cambodia. People are amazing and low regulations along with beautiful landscape land it’s hard not to fall in love with with Cambodia 🙏🏼
Thanks, strongly considering Siem Reap for retirement. Any chance you'll review the Makro Townhowses?
Siem Reap a great place to live and retire. Definitely visit before hand. Is Makro Apartment a specific place?
There's a large multi stage development near the Makro Market called Tourism City. It looks like it was a big development hit hard by covid, a big Hotel was being built there that doesn't seem to be finished. ( I did photo interpretation in the military so I notice things possibly many miss in aerial images) Anyway it is a massive development that looks like it has an interesting story and has full town houses at moderate rates, but I haven't seen any vids on the place.
We will see what we can do 🙏🏼
GREAT VIDEO IM IN A WHEELCHAIR HOW WOULD THAT PLAY OUT
You would want to stay on the ground floor level. 👍 Thanks for watching our videos 🙏🏼
Give us your feedback everyone 🙏🏼 What did you like or dislike about these apartments?
@@mahoneytravels hard to say. Would need to hear the noise at night haha.
$250. Is very cheap. We plan on coming back very soon also my rent in Canada is $1750. A month
250 for the 2 bedroom or 150 for 1 bedroom. A single guy who is low maintenance can live on $600 a month here no problem 👍 Thanks for watching our channel. We appreciate you 🙏🏼
Thanks .keep it rollin
250 in Asian for those is not cheap
A lot of it come down to location. Example Our 2 bedroom apartment is 200 month with 1 yr lease . However it’s all Khmer owned and residents. I’m the only westerner here. And it’s outside of town. Maybe 300 if in town. We just try to highlight beginner apartments for new expats that are western friendly. 🙏🏼 we are looking into more expensive rooms that are in town for contrast at the moment
250€ mortgage apartment ,Northern Europe , 13 years fixed. But this apartment in Cambodia looks really nice to rent .
Great video where is laundromat very important seim reap is hot
About 4 different places within a block and either direction. 50 cents to 1 USD per kilo including wash dry and folded 👍
@@mahoneytravels can retire old man simple life single $900 per month. Just injoy the nature and culture. I love happy poor people.
