Many churches sing song that have too many lyrics that are redundant, and repitious. It's boring, and unedifying. It doesn't build me up. The hymns on the other hand, are deep in biblical truth. It's not good that churches are no longer singing them.

When I was teaching myself to play the piano, for some reason this was one of the very first songs I ever did play. This i first heard this song sung in the sixties by the back to the Bible quartet, it has stayed on my heart ever since. "He forgave me of my sins" praise God!
