    I LOVED ❤ the video (like someoneelsesaid; chuckling at the intro). If I may be brutally honest, the pictures, a lot less so. The B/W graffiti window at 4:18 was cute! Happy birthday, David. Nice room you got, wow (the trip was a present from Teresa, if I may guess? ). I immediately got swooned by your room number; ah, my venerable Nikon 17-35mm ... I know, I got some screws loose...😮😂 Take care and many more happy years!

    David I spent a week in New Orleans in December last year my daughter was there for a conference so I had my granddaughter all week. My son came out on Thursday with his wife my son who teaches middle school toured the The WW 11 Museum and the New Orleans Civil War Museum. It was originally a veterans hall and the Civil War Veterans donated a lot of interesting things from the war , mainly uniforms , things from Jefferson Davis and his family. We took a number of bus tours around the city and had a Vudu presentation from a Vudu high priest I hope your week in New Orleans was as memorable as mine was David 😊

    NOLA brings out the crazy in people. I was there in fall 10 or so years ago and hit the bars around lunch time. A guy who had been there all night came up to flirt with my wife. We ended up having a nice chat until he had to go home to his family.

    If you dont like humidity and heat, then I recommend going in the early spring or fall. July is pretty miserable to be honest. Lol. It is actually fairly close to Chattanooga. We are only about 6 hours from there.

    It is a cool town but in July it is honestly unpleasant due to the heat. If I could go back in the fall, that is when I would prefer to go. It would be a little cooler in the morning and I think would still provide some cool photo ops.

    Press one of those buttons to see which one turns on the Bed Massager. Make sure you get back before Dark. French Quarter when Myself and Wife were there Catrina Storm 6 months after. It's Great to get away now and then also. Would you rather go to Nashville or New Orleans? Cheers!

    Thank you Randall. If I had to pick just for simple photography then it would probably be Nashville. They are about the same size so the people density is similar but I think that crime is probably higher in New Orleans too. The cool thing about New Orleans is the history… 👍📸

    With regards to the lenses for the Zf: the 40 and 50mm are totally different but both great, and the 500mm pf works grear, but give manual focusing your m-mount glass a chance with an mtoz adapter: with portraits the eye detection still works on the zf with manual focus vintage lenses. Or try the tekart tzm-02 af adapter to autofocus them :-) (and get an ftom adapter to autofocus your old f-mount glass)

    Cutting real nice and making good chips....I would turn the feed or depth of cut up a little. If you didn't have the flood coolant on, and the chips turned a little brown or even blue, everything is dialed in about right.

    Mine are the Fulaim wireless mics that I had done the review on last year. They are good mics, but they are better suited to indoor use where people are not normally as loud so the audio is better mitigated. I dont know the bit rate for these mics but I am guess it is not 32 bit float as it will clip the audio if you are not careful.

  • @C2CDisciple
    @C2CDisciple5 күн бұрын

    @@davidsaylors we have some older Godox MoveLink wireless Mics from some yrs back that we use to mic up two people. I stepped on the GAS because on sale and picked up the Zoom F3 field recorder and also a shot gun mic by Zoom last year that are both 32 bit float for some of these events and for when we do more hybrid stuff instead of just stills but haven't gotten too proficient yet. I'm hoping this Osmo action 4 setup works for my vlogs, wife hi-jacked the Osmo pocket 2 that I had...these phones now though with some of these channels is all that their rockin' and footage looks good...LOL. Of course I'm still holding on to the old Iphone SE. That old Glass is cool stuff, I still got all my legacy Nikon lenses but we are fully integrated with mirrorless now. I'm surprised at the prices on the older glass is still holding it's own. Keep em' coming David.
