Learning and Technology with Frank

Technology, when used correctly, can help us learn and grow.

Throughout history, new technologies have helped people exchange information and spread knowledge. The printing press, radio, audio recordings, video - and, of course - the Internet. These tools all needed to be understood to be used effectively.

This channel is for lifelong learners and those that teach. My goal is to help you leverage technology for self-development, education, and the goal of making yourself and the world better.

The vast array of tools and resources for learning can be overwhelming - this channel provides quick tips and information to help you succeed in your own learning journey and the learning g journeys of those you teach.

Another well-done video. You are one of the few people who doesn’t move the screen around so fast that I can’t absorb what you’re showing. You also zoom in to the screen so I can see what you’re doing. I read lots of books and articles for research, so this approach in Scrintal looks intuitive for making notes.

I find the video not sharing the most important things. How do you center the whiteboard so you are only looking at your whiteboard when it is a shared space with others? How to move the whiteboard vertically... I spent 21 minutes waiting for the most basic navigation of a whiteboard.

@@MsPurpose23 You can use the zoom in and zoom out to do this. It’s fairly easy - so I didn’t specifically cover it. You can also check out my free whiteboard course which is about 2 hours of videos (all free) and broken into sections.

@@LearningandTechnology I've added an ipad pro as a second monitor to my cheap work pc using a software package named Duo. It is available on IOS, Windoze, and MacOs. It works with an apple usb c cable or if you have Bluetooth it can connect using that. Bluetooth is sometimes "laggy" but for the most part is serviceable. The usb c cable connected to the laptop works great but the pc doesn't (can't) provide enough power to keep the ipad from slowly discharging, so it doesn't last the whole day.

Hola !
