This channel will take you on a journey through my lens.
Walking and visiting many different places within Chicago - as well as other cities and states. I like walking - I feel like walking brings a different type of calmness to your mind and body. It helps you relax and experience different locations. Some you have probably visited and others you haven't.
This is a channel that will be filled with comfort and peace - hence the name - "Peaceful Explorations." I like exploring the city - taking you on a journey to experience the sounds - feel - and look of Chicago.
It is great if you've never visited or even if you live here - to see the city in a different light. My channel is being free and having the freedom to explore - have fun - and relax your mind.
I hope you enjoy my type of peace and I look forward to capturing more places and experiencing other areas as well.

I'm not aware of nightlife in Hyde Park. Mostly restaurants.
That is the nightlife - they have a lot of bars and restaurants - along with different social activities during the evening. It is a vibe - super relaxing.

Naperville. Evanston is a great community but it is still a bit unsafe with the robberies and carjackings there. The schools are nice and a great area to visit. But to raise a family and security - without worrying about any violence - then I would say Naperville.

I live in LA and this place is NOT for me at all. I feel like the vibe is definitely not for me. When I see videos of Chicago and NYC both resonate with the places I would like to see myself living in. But what I like about Chicago is that it looks cleaner and more polished than NYC. Idk in a couple months I'll make the move but still debating between Chicago and NYC. Both imo the best larger cities in the US. Nothing like the dumpster LA is.
Omg. I love LA but I can understand why you would feel that way. But I think if you’re looking to move - I would definitely say Chicago. NYC is great don’t get me wrong - but I feel like the apartments in NYC are super small and outdated and everyone I have spoken to said that you would definitely have to have a roommate living in NYC. I love that there are more things to do - as far as the different cities in NYC but I do think Chicago is a bit more affordable and cleaner lol. I capture a lot of different areas in Chicago to showcase the different neighborhoods we have here. Check them out! See what’s best for you 💕 or if you have an area in Chicago or the surroundings suburbs that you have researched and would like a walkthrough of - just let me know and I would be happy to capture that for you 💜
Nice video and appreciate PRIDE Support - but wanted to see marchers. Video is light on marchers and heavy on folks walking down the sidewalk.

I loved it - I like the gloominess and the dramatic skies. My favorite time of weather 💕
By any chance you know if they completed Regal Mile film studio on Stony Island near 79th, you were so close for me to see but turned that corner on 79th. Once completed some movies and shows should start being filmed there maybe even revitalize the neighborhood and bring Regal theater back to life.
I thought about that as soon as I turned the corner lol! But no - the project hasn’t been completed yet. Hopefully within the next few months. I’m excited to see the finished project. But hopefully it will be completed soon. I would love that for the neighborhood - it’s so much history there for theater - music - art. So much to see.
You have to start from the lakeshore east pedway entrance which is the Auqa residential tower that will lead you to and through millennium station you went through all the way to City Hall. Can’t wait until Google finishes the revamp of the Thompson Center that connects to the pedway as well. There are a lot of buildings connected to the pedway, some new buildings are required to add on to the pedway when constructed.
I am super excited about the new construction for Google. That is going to look so awesome. Google designs are always unique. I will definitely walk through the entire pedway soon. I will do another video to show how everything is connected to each other 💕🙂

I love Hyde Park 💕 It is such a vibe. They are gearing up for a few events for the summer and just setup the outdoor seating for the warmer weather. Did you move out of Chicago? Come back and visit - if so! 🩷
@@peacefulexplorations yes I did and regretted. I used to live in Hyde Park. For almost 8 years
I wanted to move out of Chicago as well in the past. But the places I wanted to move to were kind of more expensive like California and New York. And I too would miss it a lot because it’s home. Don’t regret it! You can always come and visit and in due time - maybe you’ll make the decision to move back if that’s something you would like to do 💕

It is still South Chicago - however - the Regal Theater is called “Avalon Regal Theater” because it actually borders Avalon Park. I grew up in the area 🙂 they border one another. Thanks so much for your feedback - I appreciate it 💕

That is super exciting! You will love the city - it is such a beautiful place to visit. Absolutely! So if you are wanting something that the locals eat - I would recommend Phil’s Pizza on 1102 W. 35th Street in the Bridgeport neighborhood. They do accept all types of payment - in the reviews it will say ‘cash only’ but they aren’t. The sausage pizza is amazing. If you want to try a deep dish pizza - I would recommend Giordano’s Pizza on 130 E. Randolph Street in Downtown Chicago or 5311 S. Blackstone Avenue in Hyde Park. Giordano’s Pizza does take about 45 minutes to an hour. You all are going to have a great time - the weather is beautiful. A little hot in the coming weeks but very beautiful 💕

I love the bridge. Maxwells and the Regal Theater have been a staple of the community for a very long time. A lot of history 💕
