  i just upgraded from a rtx 4060 ti to a asus rx 7900 xtx such a big upgrade when using my hp reverb g2 with its 2160 x 2160 per eye resolution thanks for the great video

  A bit if personal bias on the 7600, 3070 and 2060 GPUs. Especially at this time of updated software a year later. Also gotta account for cost, you may not like AMD but they're more budget friendly than Nvidia, Nvidia is all for Premium Quality while AMD keeps at Good quality and Budget.

  Also kinda gotta note that you can go on VRC on Desktop with a 1050 and still be able to technically play just fine without VR. Oddly even if it's not supported the 1050 could somehow barely run VRC, absolute dogshit but still surprised I even got anything out of it. (I don't recommend a 1050 for VR use, it can launch but you'll move like a Drunk person capped at 15 frames 😂) Now the 1060 6gb is as far down as you'd ever wanna go for VR play, a 1070 is an even more-so solid choice for really budget friendly VR supported GPUs. (A 1070 at this time can be bought for $95.99 for a Refurbished/excellent conditioned GPU and is great for VR Budget gaming and is still a really solid choice) The main thing Nvidia and AMD are advertising is way more power and vram then what's actually required for a decent frame rate and decent mid-Graphics quality. They're mainly advertising future proofing and more power that's actually needed to comfortably play.

  Been in VRChat for around 4 years now and my one problem with myself is that I want to make friends but have managed to convince my brain that I really enjoy being in private worlds and that I am happy with just that or sitting alone in public worlds. I want VR friends so badly but I cannot shake off the nervousness and I am quite outgoing IRL. Gonna use these tips and update when I remember that I posted this comment.

  On the 5th one, I think that this makes more sense than some of the others! Avis are a large part of who you are in Vrchat and being able to express that without being scared to is great! I think the only problem is people judge to quickly. As of me joining one of my favorite worlds I was wearing an SML avatar as I'm entering that kinda phase at a rather old age, I said nothing. I sat there just watching. And I got vote kicked. I could hear ppl in the background "Oh yeah that's an SML avi they are gonna raid us or something" When I have no close ppl to even help me do something like that. I wish people wouldn't just judge by and avatar but still its a good and great part of who you are in VRC and one of the greatest perks of VRC, Being able to be whoever you want to (Most of the time)

  I plan to make a build for mcfs and dcs. I mainly want to do vr in dcs (quest 2 or 3). So I was originally planning to get the rx7900gre paired with a ryzen 7800x3d. But now im hearing that amd is bad for vr. Is it true? Should I buy it anyway? What are your thoughts?

  The biggest thing with VRC is knowing what you're in VRC to do. If you just like small instances with friends, then even a damn 2070 works fine. If you're like me and often find yourself in 50-80 person large instances, then anything below a 4090 will require you to do some avatar culling or data limiting. I personally use a 4080 build (like the video mentions, its mostly because I got it at a good price and do a lot of gaming outside VR), and it's great for big instances, but still have to make some small compromises.

  16GB vram seems to be the minimum for decent VR experience. Ideally 24GB VRAM if you don’t want to compromise anything

  @AnonymousUser-ww6ns Not true. Most standalone headsets provide a decent VR experience, and their processor contains far less than 16GB of VRAM. Most new VR games are being developed for Quest 3 first and then scaled up a bit for PCVR, PSVR2, etc. You don't need much VRAM for a decent VR experience in 90% of VR games. Stuff like VRChat and Microsoft Flight Sim are notable exceptions.

  Can confirm the review on the Haritora Wired. Annoying to put on and the knee tracker straps can be a bitch to keep from sliding down your leg, but the tracking is satisfactory. Also, yes, the elbow trackers are pure shite. I got them as well, and there's no way to use them that doesn't cause your avatar's arms to spazz out when held at your sides. They also sometimes mess with your hip trackers as well, which is super odd. Basically, it's a good system on a budget. Just know the hip trackers are a must, avoid the elbow trackers, and know there will be compromises made for the price. P.S. Get an external Bluetooth receiver if you get one. Wish I knew that from the jump.
