of course, a $7500 and 20 year old car with a yearly maintenance cost of $20,000. Why didnt I think of that?
The e at the end is silent you weird af stop sayin it like there's an A at the end
this is in fact wrong.
Im 17 and jobless how can you help mr
Get a job
I get your point and don't get me wrong. Porsches are amazing. But it is very important to keep in mind how expensive it is to own and maintain these. Even the ones that you can buy for 10k
There are way better options for under 10k
You must have never drove an Porsche. 😅
But I don't want a porche rn
You good? 🤨
Hard to beat
That sound 🔥🔥🔥
Feel like we're missing some context here
Bro that’s a performance Model x … just google the specs of the car. That mom would bust yo ass with the car seat in the back ..
V10 5.0😍🤤
We love the V10!
those 0-60 numbers are wrong. when you launch this car you feel you getting sucked in the seat and some g force
Such cool cars
Thank you! We agree!
It’s got a steering wheel right? Go tf around.
Sometimes people don't realize this lol
Ummmm where tf was he supposed to go around exactly? They were passing vehicles that were in the right lane. And it’s your job to get your Lolly gaggin ass out of the left lane as soon as a pass is completed. It’s referred to as the PASSING lane for a reason
Maybe it's because it doesn't get driven that much and only in the summertime
Not driving a vehicle causes more harm than driving it. Seals dry rotting, fluids expiring, seals sticking etc.
@@HBiAuto Odyssey then you're not a true car guy if this is the case just because the car is sitting doesn't mean it's not maintain big car collectors don't drive their cars every day but they're maintain them like they're driven them everyday you're telling me Jay Leno drives every car or motorcycles that he owns
How many miles do all these old relatable Porsche 911 average 😂. Hey, as long it's not BMW or Range Rover
"On the road" aka in someones garage collecting dust.
A customer recently came into my shop with a 94 911 and had a coupon for a coolant flush…
Basically a better built VW. woopty woo.
How often are they on the road? How many miles on average per year.
On the road?! What is Porsche's source for making this claim?
Active DMV registration data per state.
Porsche also attracts the sort of customer that will maintain the car as it's supposed to be.
It’s just like your health. If you ignore it, you will soon regret it, but in all honesty, a Porsche will destroy any other super car in reliability, we know this from experience.
nonsense. "similar" looks do not impact reliability. there is no technical similarity, other than layout, between the current and original versions. the reason so many 911s are still on the road is that they are desireable cars and their increasing value makes it viable to keep investing in maintenance and rebuild to keep them on the road.
These types of comments are invalid without data. Please provide data to validate your claim.
@@HBiAuto as opposed to your “in my opinion” within your video? I rarely provide negative commentary on videos, but this one was so shallow it begged for it. And “my data” is the hundreds, if not thousands, of Porsche restoration videos on KZread and the endless online discussions on rising used Porsche prices. There, you’ve got my data to back up my claim. Where’s your “commonality” and “reliability” data and its connection to the high percentage of 911s still on the road? Your video is entirely invalid without data.
@@rick-hm3ji That is your opinion, not data. Here is two credible sources that back the stated claims we have made in the video. 1. Porsche states 70% of all cars on the road. 2. JD Power states 97.4% of all 911s 25 years back of 2020 are still on the road. kzread.info/dash/bejne/fnaO2M6dmZnNnbw.html www.timelessautomobile.com/post/porsches-from-the-last-25-years
@@HBiAuto sigh. the issue is not the percentage still on the road, the issue is whether or not this is due to reliability (which in turn is due to continuity of design). give it up. you're embarassing yourself with shallow reasoning and logic.
It sounds like you keep looking for a path to validate your claim which isn’t accurate. Either way thanks for the banter lol it drives up our views which is why we respond 😂
The vast majority of Porsches aren't faily drivers. They aren't racking up 20k miles a year like a Camry. That's why do many are still "on the road"
I beg to differ. There are several GT3s with 100k miles on them. This is known if you are in the Porsche community.
Probably helps that only those with money can buy one, so they arent as prone to dismiss maintenance the way a broke ass mistreats a 91 civic. Barring accidents or manufacturers defects, many cars can go for damn near forever if you keep up on all the maintenance as set by the manufacturer.
Except toyota you can never do maintenance and it will keep going
This is 50/50.
@HBiAuto hence why I made it a point to not use any absolute language and also provided exemptions. Not every car is going to live forever. However, more often than not, if you actually handle them right, they last.
Reliable? I wonder how much he got paid?☠️☠️☠️
Not getting paid to say anything lol. We have had dozens of Porsches come through the shop with 100K miles and they drive like a dream. They are built to last!
They just don't see a lot of miles. Helps a LOT.
You see porsches more than any other luxury car what
@@apexjyt they stated 911s NOT the 'practical' cars 😞
There are Porsches / 911s out there with 100K+ miles. We have seen and driven them. They act brand new and it’s thanks to good drivers and those that take care of the car they enjoy driving.
@@HBiAuto 100k miles is NOTHING in a modern car. For the average car that's about what's on the odometer. What's the average mileage on a 911?
@HBiAuto 100k miles??? 😅😅 Ford Crown Vic is known to go 400k+ miles That's reliable
The porsches that aren't on the road are the tanks😂😂😂
🤦🏻♂️
You are a great resource. You are worth your weight in gold. 100% agree btw. Dealerships are not the place to service these cars. I’ve had similar experience. I would buy a car you serviced in a heartbeat. Cheers
We appreciate that a ton! We take great pride in our work and making sure these cars run correctly the first time they come in. We want to make sure we are tackling the issue and not putting a band aid over anything.
Thank you!!!
Come on auto manufacturers have successfully running engine coolant systems in cars for over a century. How are you gonna tell me a premium manufacturer cant figure out such a simple system.
Good job! Hope you learn more and thank you, Evan.
What is the purpose of the collar? Bypass for quicker warm up?
pretty much, it closes the flow of coolant so that the engine can reach temperature faster
I really wish you would have went over the "Same Issues"..... what are those
I will get you a list!

I bought a 991.1 Carrera S from a dealership near Lake Norman 5 years ago and saw the previous owner took it to you guys for service. I'd never heard of HBi even though I am only 45 minutes away (10 minutes from Porsche Greensboro). That was a great car and I regret selling it. Now here you guys are five years later, popping up on my algorithm! Congratulations on your growth and success.
Thank you so much! We really appreciate that you noticed, if we can ever help with anything please feel free to reach out :) Stop by anytime you are in the area!
