  You can't frame generation is only available for the 4000 series. The have to fix the cpu bottleneck.

  Looked at it in steam, holy hell, how much DLC are they going to put out? Sure everybody has to make money, but other survival crafting games do it by releasing free updates that keeps new subscribers coming. The endless DLC model IMO kind of sucks. No way am I going to pay $109 (with current 38% discount) for the full game vs buying something incomplete. Simpler to play other games until if/when they release a complete edition 5 years down the road.

  I get that, and they should clarify a bit what things are. Because honestly you dont need most of its. You can easily start with just the base game, and than new frontiers and styxs from the prospector edition are maps. All the rest you don't need at all. Its not ideal because it's way to vague and confusing but it do get it. This is a way bigger team than most survival games this comes way closer to Ark and Conan in terms of size and scope. But yes not a fan ether make the offering simple.

  This game would've been a huge hit if it not for the server problems on launch. I enjoyed the game despite its aggravating disconnection issues. It plays very smoothly and the visuals are beautiful. I am glad to see they have found a new way to reinvigorate the game and look forward to seeing what they can do.

  Yes, i agree 100% plus for me they also had some of the same vaguesness as warframe interms of buildcrafting. Why do i get a number in Crit chance increase and stuff just give me the %. Tons of these huge numbers that i fail to see the meaning off always take me a bit to wrap my head around that stuff. But regardless im looking forward to it!

  @@GameJoyExplained I am the kind of person who loves long JRPG series and wants to play as many of the games as possible from them, ahaha. Can be a bit daunting, but also rewarding! For example, I played a lot of the Atelier and Tales of games, and I love the connection between each game in the series and the little references they make to each other.

Without KZread, I never would have heard about many indie games and hidden gems. Including the Ys games. Though it seems like everyone who loves JRPGs has Ys 8 in his top 10.

  It's actually pronounced "ease" like ease the f up, yo. Ys8 is the best in the series. Hard is imo the best difficulty, what should be considered the games normal difficulty.

  @@pandaman1331 Ys is a floating continent that's only mentioned(or set in) in a couple of the games. Ys 1 and 2 and Ys Origin.

  @@pandaman1331 So I haven't played Ys5 at all since it's a Japan only release, also haven't played much of 6 and 7(but they don't start in Ys, so I doubt it appears in either of them.) So these ones I don't have much knowledge on what may happen, however based on the rest of the series which is up to Ys9 and Origin only the second half of Ys 1 and 2 takes place in the floating continent of Ys, while Ys plays an integral role in Ys Origin because the characters come down from the floating continent. This is also the only game that does not have Adol in it(technically, he's playable in bonus modes but is not playable in the main game because it's a prequel to Ys 1 and 2 and he doesn't exist yet.) The title of Ys is like a Zelda or Metroid where Zelda and Metroid aren't featured in all of the games, where in Ys case it's not featured in almost all of the games. To give a more simplistic take on Ys, the Ys series is like Uncharted. Every game Adol finds himself on a new continent and every game there's some sort of ancient relic/power that he saves the world from. The only characters who knows that he saves the world from certain destruction are those with him.

  I hate it too but there are some good potential reasons like they aren't a native english speaker and have an accent people find hard to understand or don't want to make a fool of themselves, or maybe they have a terrible speaking voice like RFK Jr. Or heck maybe they have their tongue cut out.. very unlikely, but you know. There ARE potential reasons.

  those are pretty good reason :D Actual reason is that I have a 40 hours + job, and I'm not super comfortable in doing this without a narrator. This saves me both a lot of time, and makes it easier to listen to. Trust me you do not want to hear me!

  When any title is considered 'AAA' I tune out instantly, save for a few exceptions like dragon quest and mario. Ys looks good.

  The problem with many Triple A games nowadays is that they are lazy and uncreative. They are all just Dark Soul clones. Like putting stamina bars in everything for no reason, which unnecessairily slows down the game. Imagine Ys 8 with stamina bars. It's all about adventure and exploration, a stamina bar would be completely misplaced. There are still great Triple A games like FF7 remake. In my experience, you need to try a game for yourself to tell if you like it or not. Triple A or not.

  If you liked this, Y's 9 Monstrum Nox is also very good and is available for playstation, Switch and PC right now, and Y's 10 Nordics is releasing in fall of 2024. Much as I loved Y's 9 and am looking forward to 10, the real banger is Falcom's other flagship series, with Trails through Daybreak launching in the west on July 5th 2024. I know how I'm spending my 4th of July weekend!

  @@GameJoyExplained I dont get why prople refuse to try trails because of the size. Just play sky 1 and if you like it, great, there is more. If you dont like it. Well, you can drop it regardless of the size. That said I do sugget playing far enough in the first game so as to finish chapter 3 at least. People complain it starts slow but thats what makes it a true epic. A ridiculously over used word but when it is finally done properly people complain about it starting slow. THATS EPIC YOU DOPE. Seriously though, thats the whole appeal for me is getting to know otherwise unimpressive characters grow and mature into true heroes in at logical and believable pace.

  i played "they are billions", "rogue tower" and "diplomacy is not an option" in the past. this game is a great adition to the tower defence genre. i like where this is going, especially with the economy side of the game. i did loose a few runs because i was way to busy organizing my eco and didn't notice how my defences where overwhelmed by the growing numbers of enemies. :D it's truly fun but as of right now, there are only 3 maps. i noticed that all the resources, temples... well everything to be honest can be found in the same places as the last time you had been on the map. i honestly can't wait for stuff like sandbox/editor, when the community starts making their own maps and challenges :D

  I've tried Rage 2 and my main issues with this game even till today is some of the game breaking bugs that are still present in the game. Then there is getting the "ultimate edition" where you still don't get many of the premium features that are present. I still think its a good game too but its ruined by a degree of greed.

  Give Hard Reset: Redux a go I never heard anyone talk about that game and it had some of the most creative FPS combat I have ever seen. Call of Juarez: gunslinger has an excellent story told in a unique way and fun gameplay and it's another I think gets ignored.

  @@GameJoyExplained Man that sucks. It had such a unique way of telling it's story, using the unreliable narrator method. Your character is basically just sitting in a saloon telling tales in exchange for the people buying him whiskey and he gameplay is just you playing these events. But as he gets more drunk his recollection becomes less and less accurate. So you'll be playing through a scene and he will say: "So I was completely surrounded by those cattle rustlers" and then someone will cut him off and say "I thought you said you were fighting Indians" And then your character will correct himself and the whole scene will change to accommodate these revisions. Eventually the tale becomes so fantastical that you can't really figure out which parts are the truth and which are total embellishments he is telling just to keep the drinks flowing. It eventually culminates in a pretty satisfying plot twist that you won't see coming even if you know that there is one to look out for. I hope you can get it to work because it was quite a lot of fun.

  The enemies he fights in the video are meant to be stronger because of their armor and equipment. The usual bandits aren't this strong at all. With the right skills, weapons and upgrades, these fights don't get annoying as you might think.
