What makes this sadder is that Copper was serious when he said he get revenge on Tod. Usually when we get angry we say things we don't mean but Copper was deadly serious as he becomes enemies with Tod.

Just to see his freaking good friend who he hadn't seen in a while Worst of all , he (Amos Slade the hunter ) forced the old widow taking care of him and even raised him when this same hunter killed the fox's mother to return him back to the forest game preserve where he belonged since he was originally wildlife .Cried my eyes off that's why I barely see this movie as I do with other Disney classic movies

Copper’s face as he growls at Tod always sends a chill down my back. It’s the moment his innocence dies completely and swears revenge on Tod for something that wasn’t the fox’s fault. Yes, that isn’t the cute little Copper we saw earlier in the film.

I think it would of been interesting if they had done it where Copper got injured and almost died and Amos and Chief vow revenge against Tod and Tod saves Chief from the bear despite the way he treated him and Chief realizes Tod wasnt such a bad fox after all and saves him in return

I think you might be right. If the train hit him, he most likely would’ve been crushed under the wheels, not knocked to the side.

Dude you better not try to kill Tod was in her house at night time right now they were about to go back to sleep in their house but copper's owner doesn't like Tod was so scared and horrified that he was going to be dead copper wasn't going to make this whole situation is not going well because chef was being mean to him and chief got ran over by the train hit him in his leg

He was originally supposed to, but a director got butthurt when he saw the script, and refused to let it happen. That’s why Chief survived. In reality both Tod and Chief wouldn’t have survived.

I'll never be over how they were able to make Copper, who we spent the film loving and watching grow up, seem so sinister ! It's incredible

Come to think of it, that part Amos Slade said well now. That part really goes to the Springfield General Hospital, while Dr. Hibbert was part of the angry mob, and before he scratched Homer's head. From the Simpsons movie.

I cant help but feel bad for Amos. First his property got vandalized over a misunderstanding. Second his dog almost died, bc of a fox's foolishness to not stay away. Then he stepped in a bear trap, that probably wasn't his, and almost losing his second dog out of loyalty, against that bear.

Actually that was a FOX trap and that WAS his. Also, Todd only went onto the property to say hi to Copper and both times Chief was the one that started the chase.
