The key to Anita’s longevity in life and showbiz, is the fact that she is the real deal. Talented - obviously, gorgeous still…but, most importantly…she’s not acting…she really is a lovely person.

Its ok to watch this cos its not Rolf Harris, its Phil Cool and he's taking the p*ss out of Harris. Back then people would have said " ah this isn't fair" but now they certainly don't lol. Its a shame in one sense cos as a kid I enjoyed Rolf Harris's shows

i wonder if he tells the story about the time that he was trying to get it on with someone far too young for him, and clearly underage, and this perhaps may also make us think about his previous hit songs in a new light, jack the peg with the third leg, i just hope that the third leg is not his dick, tie me kangeroo down sport, why is he tying it down, i do hope it`s not to shag it, and at least buy it a drink first, two little boys, enough said, and whats with the weird aussie musical instruments, is this to distract you, while he tries to snog your daughter.

Love it. Always loved Phil Cool. Miss him on the box. Never got to see him live. At 75 I guess there's little chance of seeing his genius again. We can only hope.

Working in a Cocktail bar of a Hotel in Porthcawl, I remember Anita came in with her Husband and a couple of other people. I was very taken with how she talked with me at the bar for quite a long time...and was the same as she was on this show...warm and vibrant.

Brilliant wasn't he? I hope he's having a happy retirement. The Michael Caine sketch : That actually happened to my (Very short sighted) mum, The Optician asked her to take her glasses off and then said to her "Can you read what it says on the card ?" she said "Eh? " So he replied ( A bit louder this time) "Can you read what is says on the card please" so mum replied "Yes, A, thats it, top line the letter A, that's as far as I can get!" 🤣

I loved the story about him doing a gig many years ago for the soldiers stationed in The Falklands. Halfway through his act one of the squaddies let out a very loud fart. Quick as a flash Cool responded "Well that's the first time I've ever been heckled by a real arsehole!"

  • @Mackeson3

It's just reminded me how bad he really was.......... Mike Yarwood I mean, compared to this guy! Phil was a total genius, although he has officially retired I have heard he does the odd gig now and again.
