Love the song, the band and this post BUT I can't help wondering who the hippy chick is dancing in the robe and what ever happened to her. I imagine she ended up strung out on drugs and sadly died an early death. Hope to god I'm wrong.

John and Gary flamed those guitars, pioneered rock, not just the San Francisco sound either-I grew up listening to their music fantastic band that deserves more credit. Perhaps if Dino wasn’t busted

Dino Valente jailed for one joint delayed their first record is my understanding. I saw them with the Jefferson Airplane at the Family Dog out at the beach. What magic musicians!

Is it really that hard to understand , record co, dont like to hear their products are harming us ... and everything is traced back to British , banks , big oil that own the record cos . , obvious Hence , they have no reason to really promote them , so when you cry Yyyhh aren't he in the r&R hall . THAT'S WAY ! And thats why I DO]N'T CARE IF their in or not ! It's all rigged !

John Cipollina was an incredible guitarist, what I don't understand is why he spent years playing with a bunch of provincial bands in the San Francisco Bay Area following his departure from Quicksilver. He was on a higher level. I can't believe he wasn't in demand with high level premier bands. Nothing against the knock around guys, that circled the Bay Area for decades, but SF was no longer the innovative place for music. It's sad that he didn't perform with higher profile bands. I know his health was a consideration too.

December 1970, Fillmore East. Jefferson Airplane. Grace Slick was something like 8 months pregnant. Periodically she would go rest and what would become Hot Tuna would play.

One of the best concert, and certainly one of the most fun ever, was Quicksilver at USBC way back when. They were supposedly too loud, and the house kept cutting their power. Real jerks... Then at 10pm the management came out and said they were imposing curfew, and turned off the equipment power for good. The band looked at each other and just started playing again acoustically for another half hour or so... I think... :)

One of the Greatest West Coast Bands from the classic 60s Era. A stellar lineup of talent and songwriting. When you hear an old Quick Silver song it is unmistakable to not recognize their place in History. I love The Alman’ Brothers and Butterfield Blues Band-But these guys had it going on too!!!!
