This may be one of the biggest piles of dogshit Wifi Mesh systems of all time. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS GARBAGE
Does this unit does both router and modem ? Or doi need to get a modem for this as well
Future homelab goals.
Some apps have Access everywhere it’s the same thing
can this be access via a URL and a computer. I hate phone apps.
I just want the Orbi WiFi 7 Router (RBE771)
I'm so sad, I see a whole stream of comments confirming what I was afraid of.
€220 euro's for only 2,5 gigabit, are you nuts!? This is insanity for an unmanaged switch...
Question: Why is a $49.95 Ethernet switch $200?
@@marco3dartist Ever since COVID, all companies have been jacking up prices, and it's doubtful that they will ever come back down, even if the chip shortage is over.
@@Mrperson0 It is largely because Biden turned off Oil independence for the US. So now we are importing more oil and paying a premium for it. That raises the world-wide cost of gas produced from that oil. So shipping parts to factories to build things is 4x as costly world wide.
@@marco3dartist If that was truly the case, you wouldn't see all these companies constantly making record profits. It is just a case of companies seeing how much they can get away with jacking up the prices lol.
@@Mrperson0 “record profits” are just a nice way of saying everything costs more. They are too smug to directly admit they are hurting as well.
@@marco3dartist Ya, that's not a thing.
$200? Guess that isn't too bad, but I guess it'll be a long time before we can get these switches down to the current price of gigabit switches.
This video suggests that the only way to setup my new Orbi system is via the app. Zero instruction on how to setup using the browser. Not helpful at all. Regret buying the Orbi.
This crap no longer even exists
Easiest 😂😂😂😂😂
Mine is going 2 years strong. With atleast 3 smart tvs running each day and 2 Kid tablets. Two Family home.
Mine didn’t have a QR code?
lets start by never buying anything from netgear. they want to charge me $169 subscription so they can help me set up my new router thanks but no thanks taking it back. seriously whats the point of customer service if i have to pay for it lmao....
Can someone answer this question? If I need to run an Ethernet cable from the modem to a router that’s on the other side of the house, which Ethernet output do I use ?
What is Open Office and Outdoor profiles differences? This was nice to say "here's a new feature" but nothing about what it those are... :( Heck I still can't find answers to what some settings are in Insight. It's frustrating as heck...We have like 20 WAP, 1 Router, 4 SmartSwitches... I don't want to change but other brands offer more in-depth explanations of functions
So i can use this device without a satellite? Or i need one?
I only have a wifi no router can I use an extender still
Just here for the song.
can you get signal at the ocean ?
lasted 2 years. i have had many netgear products over the years. Funny how they all just seem to stop working after 2-3 years. Always after a firmware "upgrade"
can hear you
My lights are flashing and we just bought this.
What a stupid product. Just give a remote if the functionality is this bad
Save your money doesn’t work
NETGEAR armour does not work my cctv always gets hacked from my neighbours so plz don’t pay the extra money not worth it
My question is how this bro is using the WiFi router in the forest ?😅 there’s not internet in the forest
I’ve got the Netgear 790s,it’s great in the car.
Cool! What are the primary differences between the two profiles?
Hi @daniel_mixes please see from our Engineering Team: RF Profile: Customizable collection of RF parameters to be applied to selected APs Parameters: Radio Settings (per band) and Instant WiFi preferred channel Customer Profile: System preset parameters tuned for supported customer list: 802.11k/v, rate limit, and advanced rate selection Apply at SSID level
Scam, should be included in router features. What a joke
I watched all of these videos and I purchased the orbi 970. I have the three of these and found that they won't connect by 6E to my Vive XR Elite. I couldn't be more disappointed with these and in the support I got from Netgear. I know this isn't your fault that I bought these but after all this upgrading I then went and purchased a TP-Link - Archer AXE7800 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6E Router which runs separate from the Netgear Orbis just to connect to my Vive at 6E speeds.
Just use device control, shutoff the connection when your kids don't listen. Don't need this bloatware.
I came here for the song but I might just buy an orbi too 😂😂😂
They definitely made the song specifically for the ad. It has me hooked 😅
im confused where does the good connection com from? the sim or the netgear thing.
I feel like I have just been scammed buying this product, I have that sinking feeling in my belly, I know I should have googled more about this product and read more reviews. I know I'm not savvy when it comes to this sort of stuff but how on earth are you meant to connect to that website and do all that while having no internet? I done what it said and obviously was never going to work the way in the video
Thanks 👍😊 👍
I like the name of my network and you are making me use the default. This is irritating.
Does it matter which modem it is?? Like does it matter how good the modem is or do I just need it to connect the cable??
It works with any cable modem. You can use the ethernet cable included in the box to plug into the modem.
Remote management on my Nighthawk app is called Access Anywhere.
Jual Bang Jual Bang😮
What does it mean when the number 1234 light on the router isn’t on ?
