as far as bar oil goes, I use the "better than oil" brand from home depot. since i cut firewood all the time and I live off well water I didn't want to use petroleum based bar oil in my saws anymore. the stuff works just fine and seems to keep the chain links cleaner then regular bar oil.

Bubba "That is NOT how u cut down a tree" please learn how to properly notch a tree. The notch u just made was almost the entirety of the tree its self. No harm no foul, right?? No, wrong. Next time u may not be so lucky. There are too many things to list that could've gone wrong and notching a tree or tree work all around is properly mitigating any issues that are visible and in this particular situation you added a hazard with a poor cut that could've gotten you hurt or worse. Just be safe.

😅😅😅I was wondering why your saw wouldn't start. Then I noticed that the chain brake was engaged. I went through the same thing a little over a year ago with my CS1804. I was going nuts; and then I finally saw the orange line on the chain brake; and pulled it back into the operating position. I guess we both didn't expect the brake to be on before the saw had ever been used.

@Theaverageguy-xy3qb good deal! It's almost always nice when a reason pops up to use your chainsaw.

I think your face cut, (notch); was dangerously deep. I'm surprised the tree didn't fall or at least pinch your bar.
@Theaverageguy-xy3qb14 күн бұрын
It held up so that was good 👍🏽 the cut was wide enough so no pressure on the blade. The saw performed very nicely just for being in that first setting.

Anxiously awaiting your future videos on this saw. There isn't that much out there yet. I have battery operated chainsaws as a hobby. I bought the CSX5000; and am strongly considering picking up this one next month. Exciting times in the battery operated chainsaw field!

As a professional detailer, most chemical guys products are trash. Try CarPro Darkside or meguires tire gel or meguires endurance, so much better than this chemical guys crap.

You can try using chemical guys hyper coat or vrp works really well they are not shiny but have a really nice stock clean look and protect your tires from blooming and cracking and uv damage and hold in the rain extremely well
