Like the 2nd curcular image but, prefer to be able to see the inside of the stadium than having stained glass. However, i do think there should be some sort of virtual goodison park emersive 4d experience, for when the old lady leaves us. So that future generations can stull experince Goodison and its atmosphere.

Should have redeveloped Highbury. Could have rebuilt and kept features of the old stadium with getting what upgrades we needed. Now we have a cut and paste generic soulless bowl.

They looked in to it but it wasn't feasible... the east stand was a listed building so they couldn't touch that to start with

It's a shame the new stadium wasn't built 10 years later. Football stadium design philosophy has come a long way since the 00's and architects now understand how to create atmosphere in their plans. This obviously wasn't considered as much with the Emirates, the seating is too far from the pitch (there's a big gap between pitch and stands), the lower tier is far too flat which exacerbates the un-intimate feeling, it just feels far too big, empty and soulless.

We were in Grand Harbour upper gardens when they flew in. What a sight, Magnificent. We also went to Airshow to see them. Thanks to all involved a once in a lifetime experience. A great tribute to the people of Malta WW ll.

I was lucky to be in the gardens of Grand Harbour when they flew in. What a site. I felt privileged to be there. The crowd roared their approval they were packed in hardly space to breathe. Went to air show as well a never to be forgotten experience, magnificent.

Aussie Arsenal fan. Went on a tour of the stadium a month ago. Disappointed, very tired looking stadium, scruffy, faded seats, stains, everywhere, rubbish lying around outside. It's only 16 years old, a great construction that has not been maintained.

I wouldn't swap Anfield for Arsenal's or Spur's stadiums in a million years. Spurs tried to build a Kop end in their new NFL stadium to create an atmosphere - big failure. Arsenal have no atmosphere.

They didn't deny it it wasn't feasible due to the proximity of the houses to highbury also the east stand was listed building so nothing could be done to that stand anyway

I’m probably gonna be the first one to say this, but I’m a Tottenham fan and I worked on the emirates project lol. Putting all rivalries aside, I had a lot of admiration for how well arsenal as a club had done, in order to successfully carry out a massive project that met the demands and expectations of how big the club’s ambitions were on the pitch.

I am quite impressed with the project management and resolution of problems. 1. Can't rebuild parts of current ground due to listed building status and high income housing. 2. Fans attached to location. 3. Finances prohibative due to required sustained success on the football pitch, manager personal guarentee to remain for multiple years before loans would be granted, replacement bank required, expensive London real estate to find. 4. Moving existing industry to a new site. 5. Small workspace. Had to build equipment on site to complete the roof. 6. Infastructure commitment to build bridges. 7. Build housing on the site ot the old stadium. 8. Get the building complete earlier to to fixture fulfillment requirement.

It’s lovely to see them back again ……….but wouldn’t it be nicer to see Faith back in the sky once again and one day I hope to get to Malta to see her ,the last time I saw her she was tucked away with her wings removed because they said it was for restoration but how long has she been like that . If Malta no longer wants her for what ever reason I think that a fund could be raised to buy her back and return her to the U.K. because she’s the last of Faith Hope and Charity and a symbol of freedom
