God, that woman harassing her about vegetarianism, leather and animal testing was annoying. Early prototype of the woke social justice warriors that annoy us today. Grace suggesting we test new products on prisoners was great! Sounds like a policy Donald Trump might have.

1990s Howard is awesome! Had the clout to interview big celebrities but hadn't lost his edge yet. What a fun show.

Howard is such a scumbag d___ head a___ h___! He's always preoccupied with salacious matters. As an interviewer, he asks annoying, stupid questions. For prurient self-indulgence, he's got all the baiting lines, "No, there's no way those are real !", "You don't know what Butt Bongos are? C'mere, I'll show you!". From just listening to him, I feel soiled.

Today was the first time I've seen Grace after listening to Jefferson Airplane since around 1999. She was super hot on the Dick Cavett show.

Let's make this about me for just a moment and then I can recede into the musical shadows. I glommed onto their music around 1969. I don't even care much for the two biggest pop hits she sang . . . yet I've been over the Moon (ME, OVER THE MOON, ALICE ! ) about her many other songs. Songs that were so, SO creative . . . yes, the Airplane & Starship were singing radical songs part of the time; other times it was the best love & peace hippie music; and other times they made science fiction, and other times, the greatest art that's hard to label.

It's funny. Sending money to GDTS was pretty much the same thing that they're talking about with the Jacksons. It was more or less a lottery. They sent you your money order back if you didn't get tickets. So, there's no small measure of hypocrisy here... but when you're great, you're allowed to contradict yourself. It's fine. Love these three.

This was 19 years after the Dead started in 1965. They still had 11 years to go. And now in 2023, 39 years later, the Dead’s music is still as popular as ever.

Wow.. had to look up Mr. C after hearing a live version of "We Can Be Together" from 1970 on youtube (incredible to see the band setting up and playing). This is great.. THANKS for posting. IMO, John's and Jorma's guitars defined the "San Francisco sound".. Jerry Garcia too, but the Dead were in their own universe.
