I could tell it was a 4030 diesel getting off the trailer because of how long that thing is

Great machine but I’ll still take my 2002 Kubota TG 1860 with a 3 cylinder 18 HP diesel engine.

Awesome job. I noticed you didn't check valve clearances while you had cover off, and also mower gearbox fluid. There is a guy in IA that parts dozens of these machines on Facebook Marketplace.

Are your glowplugs working? Seems to crank over more than it should before starting. Even in warm weather these engines like some glow. Also, are you missing the vent tube (blow-by tube) on your valve cover? If so, that would explain the oil around it, as there will always be some slight oily mist flowing out when hot on an engine of this age. I don't think the hood looks too bad really, if you found an original lens it might complete it...

I actually believe they may not be working correctly, i will have to dig into that next! As for the breather tube, when I bought the tractor it had one, it shattered like glass when i went to remove it. I ended up replacing with a new rubber hose, i must have forgotten to include it on this video. Thanks for watching!
@volvoben2Күн бұрын
@@EquipmentRevivalYT Yes, the original tube is an odd plastic that has to be heated to become pliable to be removed. Glow plugs should be easy enough to test, and in the worst case the module is about $100 for OEM. I didn't know my module had failed on my 755 (same engine) until it got cooler in the fall and it took longer and longer to start. With working plugs she starts in a second or less, even when quite cold.

trailer looks great. As a suggestion, revisit your logo-it’s too big and gaudy. It detracts from the excellent work. Logos that are clean and understated look best
