How did you get the deck so high? Most v hull builds, including some on TB nation, have lower decks and more gunnels. I like yours best and what I plan to do. Any info helps. Awesome boat.

It’s just a rustoleum and the bottom is a marine bottom side gunship grey. The blue is just rattlecan from Home Depot it’s a rustoleum paint

I watched Tiny Boat Nations tutorials. Honestly almost all of my compartments are just storage containers riveted to the aluminum frame. Only one that’s custom is the icechest mod and the rod locker

Killer build man! Did you buy one of the kits or just piece it together and did you incorporate any drain bleed off system into the subfloor?

Thanks for the comment! So I didn’t buy the aluminum kits from tiny boat nation, but looking back now I think it would’ve saved me a ton of money and time trying to find aluminum from Home Depot and stuff. I did however buy the livewell starter kit which worked great.i did not however incorporate any drain bleed offs which looking back now, I should have.

How much do you think the boat weighs? And im thinkin about gettin a 15 hp motor for myself just dont know if it will be fast enough for jon boat tournaments this year.

Dope build... I'm in the process of making my 15ft deep vhull into a bass boat... already sanded, and primed it, restored the trailer.. I'm bout to start my framing in the inside my next weekend off... where did u get the material for inside the rod locker? And how much did it run u?

Thank you for the comment! The inside of my rod locker is actually fiberglass for like showers at Home Depot. It was not expensive at all maybe $20 for a sheet of it. Highly recommend it. Easy to clean and looks amazing.

@@junovue skeptical that it was overpriced until I finished and realized the price of what I spent compared to what I could’ve spent. Don’t get me wrong it would’ve have been more than $500. But either way would’ve been easier getting the package.

It is, if you have never done wiring before lol. I had my dad help me alooooot on the wiring of the boat and trying to hide and run wires and make it look professional. It can be done but I honestly think it takes the most time.

Or go to their KZread channel, TBNation, and go to his description on his videos and find his Amazon store. I personally run the “Rule Marine Tournament Series Livewell Pump” it’s a great pump.
