I would go further on the "orange card": couple this with reduction of replacements allowed in a game. Have a bench of 8 to have full positional coverage, but only allow 5 replacements. Meaning that if a player gets sent off, it will only leave 4 replacements for injury or tactics. That would be enough of a penalty on the team, without ruining the game itself by playing it 14 vs. 15. The added benefit with the reduction of replacement would be the onus on stamina vs. power, and killing off 6+2 or 7+1 bomb squads, which are a perversion of this game.

Super, super, super show, so interesting even without all the legally approved answers. Mo and 'Bridge' a classic, loved hearing about the Daisies providing opportunity and having success, and how on earth does Scaz look about 7 years old in the glorious bucket hat? 🤣

This is 100% correct. Red was always malice. The other thing is 2 yellows shouldn't mame a red, especially for different offences. There are so many technical penalties in rugby its ruined the game.

Red card in Field hockey is only for physical violence, calling the umpire a cheat or multiple 10 minute yellow cards. We also have a green card (2 minute suspension) and a yellow card (either 5 or 10 minutes depending on severity of offence). It works. Rugby should be: Yellow: 10 Minutes Orange: 20 Minutes (Same player returns) Red Card

I get the problem trying to be solved, but the current solution isn’t right. Needs a different solution and orange cards are a better one than effectively random red cards

Disappointed from being my favourite podcast to not being in the top 4 rugby podcasts now. Only my opinion but was looking forward to talking through the touring England squad. About 5 mins of that I switched off . Hask cracking the jokes and not really taking it seriously. Liked to have heard Tindall opinion on the players selection. love a joke and feel Big Jim Hamilton and Andy Goode on their podcast get a nice balance. Missed Jonny may on here today . Maybe next watch it when he’s back on . Sorry but Love talking England

Re the sun tan thing in France at altitude, it’s not because you are closer to the sun it’s because the air is thinner and the UV rays are less filtered. The sun is 152 million Km away so 1000m of altitude is irrelevant. Just saying

Can they get Nick Heath to do the voiceover on their PWR highlights videos please - they currently have the voice of a disinterested newsreader which invokes no passion for the game. Nick always brings it on comms and could provide commentary on all the action in a much more involving way. Also, can you actually include all the tries in the highlights videos pls? 🌹

Regarding the choice of Marler, George, Cole. Only once has Borthwick started Marler and Cole (SA WC semi). He obviously appreciates the scrummaging value of one of them on the bench. I would predict Cole would start with Marler on the bench.
