    This was awesome! Very helpful to my fiance and I. We decided to go with Smother Me by The Used - a much loved band and song between the two of us. I'd really love to do a romantic sway into a dramatic waltz at the crescendo, and your guys' video really helped me to envision what that might look like.

    Thanks to this video, my now wife and I went from not having a dance ready at all for our wedding to having a lovely little bit of choreography ready for the big day! All over the course of 9 days. I recommend starting here if you're trying to prepare for a first dance that will have yourself and your wife, or husband, smiling throughout the whole thing. Cheers!

    My fiance has a problem with feeling the rhythm at all. No matter the song, he just has two left legs and keeps stepping from left to right with no matching rhythm to the music. Im so gutted as I love dancing, and I'm afraid our first dance will be a fail. We have 5 months left to practice. I've been trying to teach him, but we are going nowhere. Any tips 🙏

  • @jcdanceco
    @jcdanceco3 ай бұрын

    Thanks for reaching out. You guys aren't the only ones who struggle with this. First thing to consider is also the most important... it's better to follow your dance partner than it is to follow the music, no matter how "off time" you feel you're dancing. This can be super hard for people who naturally hear the music, but something that has to be prioritized when dancing with a partner. Here's a plain fact for you: Your guests will instantly see when you both are not dancing together, with the synchronization of movements being lost. But many times your guests won't even know you're dancing off time from the music. Once you've made peace knowing that being together with your partner is more important than being together with the music here's something that may help him. Check this video to help him better understand what to hear within the music to dance to it: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZouazKZ-gsqpmZc.html Reach out directly to us if you have any other questions. Which way is better clock wise or counter clockwise

  • @jcdanceco
    @jcdanceco3 ай бұрын

    Good question, but unfortunately, no good answer. People are all different, so some will prefer the clockwise turn, others prefer the counter clockwise, and still others have no preference at all. There are some tricky hand changes that need to be done for each specific turn, but once you learn the secrets behind them, both are easy to do! 😉👍
