CPK was never a real project but propaganda like in the years of communism. CPK, like many other ideas of this type in Poland, e.g. the Polish electric car project IZERA (which, of course, did not actually exist) was aimed at fooling people into continuing to vote for Kaczyński's party. In fact, in the years 2015-2023, a political mafia ruled, which lied to the people and led to a huge state debt. Today, CPK-type projects are still used politically, as can be seen in the comments. The current government is blackmailed by Kaczyński's people and accused of anti-Polishness due to the actual impossibility of building such projects. The stories that we don't need CPK and we have Berlin are pure manipulation. Poland is in a very difficult situation after Kaczyński's rule and there is no money for such projects. The comments under your video are trolling people who destroyed Poland under Kaczyński and people blinded by fantasies who believed in fairy tales.

This shows how even the best laid plans can lead to mistaken construction. This video with the plans laid out about 18 months ago show that terminal 1, with its 23 gates with 22 able to handle the A380 is already out of date. The A380 has ceased production and only 129 flying, with over half of them are owned by Emirates with 88 (and most are not going to JFK). So you have a large new terminal, with relatively few gates (23), hosting normal sized planes in 2030 not using the extra space where instead it could have more gates. Terminal 4 with its 54 gates will much more wisely use the space it has for the foreseeable future. The 747-800, the second biggest jet will be on the decline by that point so the large Terminal 1 gates will be underutilized.

Human Rights Watch should put an eye in this airport. There are really bad things happening there with the workers the land attendants towards passangers. I was victim in this airport last may 25 of 2024 of a female land attendant that didn't let me take my flight. I scream and yell full of panic a fear asking for the police or an emigration officer because the JFK it was my first scale after a 6 hours first flight. Nobody showed up stayed trapped there all day I lost two more flights and a lot of money. Now the psychological and physical damage to me and my spouse are breaking and destroying our lives. I can't accept that after all that are not consequences for the flight attendant that caused all this pain and damage

Will they at least plant a huge green park as well??? As is Athens wouldn't have more than enough buildings and empty flats that could offer space for living. What is missing are parks!!! How amazing would be a huge green lung next to the sea? Instead they build more streets and asphalt. Also tourists love mature and do not come to Greece to go shopping. For me it's a huge failure and proof that the main motivation is again money.

That's a MASSIVE capitalistic project. They bought a land of 6.200.000 m^2 for only 900 million €. The initial vision was to be formed a huge park (see Hyde Park, London or Central Park, NYC). The real project has nothing to do with the initial vision. When the contracts were signed between the investor and the Greek State (left government at the time), they got oblidge to alternate the design of the project and include at least 1km public and free beach accessible to everyone. Otherwise, they would have tried to skip the Constitution in order to set a private beach there. Additionally, it is proven that the only thing the investor minds is the profit, since Golden Hall, Athens didn't have neither permission for construction nor for shopping mall operation. The other shopping mall The Mall Athens violated the construction limitations which apply in that region. Golden Hall supposed to be a temporary building construction for emergent need of the Olympic Games, Athens 2004. Back then they took advantage of the hectic tempo of the government for the preparation of the Olympic Games that they didn't hesitate to turn a build to a shopping Mall without any permission. A vision of investors who only focus on profit without trying to observe the needs and the aspirations of the society is way far from a democratic vision and thus it can't be any Democratic Design possible. The vision of the Athens Riviera (an analogue of French Riviera) even though it is highly ambitious to connect the entire urban coastline with pedestrian and bike way and thus to enhance the accessibility to more citizens and guest, it has of course its own drawback. Here, the regions surrounding Hellenikon become more pricy and therefore the pressure for exploiting "unused" land intended to be a local park or a square is getting higher. Not only that, but the state (right government) offers a bonus of 10% to those decide to construct higher building, a tactic that is against the laws and the national court has voted against that. All in all, I feel so embarrassed as Greek to see all this exploitation of land and nature for making money and profit in the name of development. In the beautiful greek islands, they are big hotel project under construction at the moment within protected areas deteriorating the magnificent land and landscape of the unique greek islands.
