No dominant team, but the glaring holes of the Orioles can be fixed faster, because they are willing to trade prospects and NY isn't going to part with their top two prospects?Also if NY can't hit average SP, how can they be expected to beat better SP in the postseason?

They should have gotten Hader, he has better stuff than Holmes

Chris takes are accurate and the NY Yankees have winning records only against the Twins, KC, Brewers,Guardians and beat the Padres that are 1 game over .500. All teams can use excuses that that they are shorthanded, they are not as good as the record, plain and simple. Too many holes as Chris said.

Now, we're qualifying wins? And Chris didn't say there were too many holes. He said the lineup is thin at the moment for multiple reasons and we have to truly evaluate after the trade deadline.

@@TheViewsFrom314ftPodcast It does matter about the teams you beat if you want to paint an accurate picture, whether it is a popular opinion or not. That is their record and not my opinion.

I get it but verdugo missed multiple games in the first Baltimore series, Soto missed the entire dodgers series, and judge missed a game in the Baltimore series. That’s hard to overcome especially against those caliber of teams I’m not really worried even though i believe they will improve the team come the deadline.
@TheViewsFrom314ftPodcastАй бұрын
That was only part of the reasons for the losses and we acknowledged that. There were other factors as well including not playing well enough.

@@TheViewsFrom314ftPodcast yeah i agree but unfortunately we’ve got to the point where fans are acting like this team isn’t good and won’t contend because they lost a couple series in June. I’m convinced most fans don’t watch other teams and see every team is flawed there is no perfect team out there.

Agree completely about the Dodgers series. Way too much weight placed on those games. It was a fun series but didn’t mean as much as Yankee fans seemed to think.

This is one of the best podcasts around, period. Great insights, great guests, and I love the way you guys can take an event or circumstance, and describe it from varying points of view. Can’t wait to read Andy’s book. Love Randy’s work, and can’t wait for Chris to come out with his first book, whenever that may be

5:30 The only other NYC player(besides CC) to have a Brunson impact in FA the last 10-15 years Artemi Panarin. You could count KD and Kyrie if you don't value the postseason.
