Amazing footage of history in the making .At the time I suspect that this pinacle of technically advanced electronics was kept relatively low key by the BBC as not likely to be of much use or interest for the future and would never surpass radio as entertainment .The sight of flat capped old boys hauling in heavy coaxial cable and sitting on sections of the aerial tower on the end of a rising crane jib would give modern day health and safety exceutives a touch of the vapours !.
