  LC is probably the best gunship weapon, but the HMG is pretty amazing now. It kills everything super fast. For Gunships just ADS with it.

  you can destroy mortars by shooting them wherever not just the vents, like to snipe them when I get the chance. And yeah, Laser cannon is my favorite for gunships.

  Against gunships, I'm partial to the Spear. Yeah, it's overkill, but I can pick them out of the sky at long distance to assist the other half of the team when we split objectives.

  Yeah I like killing them with the spear too, but the only problem is that it feels like I’m always out of ammo from sniping fabricators from across the map.

  Assuming you can track their engines well, I think that the laser cannon might actually be the best weapon for killing gunships right now, but let me know what you guys think about this.

  @@TheCamaro5 Yeah the autocannon can kill them well, but I guess I’m just not the biggest autocannon fan considering how bad its handling and recoil is.

  Not a critique, but just something I’ve noticed a lot of people do that bugs me is double and triple down on fire damage. Like, commit to the bit or whatever, but fire damage doesn’t stack. So shooting the incendiary breaker at a bug that’s already on fire is just doing the base damage, which is not very good. Plus, most kinds of fire weapon share the same general role (close combat, crowd control, dangerous to self and allies). Swapping around some aspects of the build to cover other areas is wise, imho. Something like Flamethrower, 500kg, autocannon sentry, and a backpack of choice, Punisher shotgun or an AR, and stun grenades. In particular I like the punisher because the stagger shuts down stalkers and brood commanders, the only non-heavies that the flamethrower can’t crush right away. Stun grenades for toasting chargers.

  The heavy devestators are crazy when they're in groups of 2 or more lol. But getting 2 jammers side by side is crazy. Ive only seen that twice (this video being one of them) and it felt like it took way too long to take both down

  Insane gaming, not every helldive is this difficult and chaotic, but this is something else. For first 12 minutes couldn't blink and check if i wàs watching video on1.5x speed. Gameplay like doom eternal. Sent it to my gf, she was panicking while just sitting and watching. Nerves of steel :)

  Question- if you dropped in (with this loadout) on a double gunship fab and had gunship patrols as a modifier what would be your strategy? Run, regroup, get your call-ins? Or would you just not run this loadout knowing gunships are patrolling?

  I think that this loadout is more than capable of dealing with multiple gunship patrols. Usually you will see 2 gunships in every patrol, so if you can hit your rockets consistently, then you will have no problem killing them.

  14:20 I think you found the bot main character. That guy had too much plot armor. Two eats plus a million railgun rounds? The railgun needs to be able to dmg gunships at a more consistent rate or it just can’t compete with the auto cannon or even hmg anymore. Which is a shame cause it is fun.

  As much as I wish the railgun could do more against gunships, I think it definitely competes against the autocannon. It reliably one shots pretty much any other bot, and you can also use the shield pack since the railgun doesn't need a backpack to reload.

  @@Mute_R6 yes having a backpack slot is nice, but you now have to bring eats or something else to deal with gunships, which still uses another stratagem slot. Before gunships I agree it was a balanced trade off with AC and RG, but now I feel the scale tips too much. If the RG could reliably kill a gun ship in 4 or 5 shots I think it would be ok. But that’s not where things are now.

  @@svn5510 That is why I bring the eat-17 to kill the gunships. Personally, I would rather bring the railgun and have an easier way to kill devastators and hulks, and use the eat-17 to kill any gunships.

  I personally prefer the scorcher so i can take down gunships. If you hit them from sideways they go down faster

  I got yesterday exactly this, two jammers and between them doubled gunship factories covered on top by mortar emplacements...sometimes game trolls us hard especially when I run solo or with my friend only. Sometimes I pitty my keyboard...😁

  Eagle strafing run really shines on this map due to just how many bullets it pumps out. Orbitals also avoid the trees, the precision is great for taking out biles!

  The airburst RPG seems so good on paper but I can never get it to work as well as I think it can (replace cluster bombs), I also prefer splitting up and not a team support role so it doesn’t fit my loadouts either. I really love that they went with the RPG-7 style for an airburst launcher for reasons that if u know, u know 😹

  ​@Mute_R6 you're one hell of a helldiver and I get enjoyment watching you play, but it's not "partly" on you, it's totally on you. I prefer watching the team play videos over solo dives that you do. If and when you post the next team play video, please tag the resupply when you call it in so your team gets a share. It's the right thing to do

  @@constantineshing9093 Ok, I know exactly which resupply you're talking about that I took most of, but I did this after pretty much my entire team had just died. This means that they are now full on all of their supplies, and they don't need the resupply. While I could do a better job calling in resupplies when my teammates are near me, we are not communicating with each other, and I'm not only going to call in supplies if my entire team is next to me.

  @@Mute_R6 I think if you had ran away from the landing zone, the Pelican would hover above the landing zone and provide support fire. I think the Pelican's guns are pretty powerful

  Yeah they were getting stuck in the trees. This was one of my first missions on the new planet, and honestly I would just recommend not bringing the eagle 500kg bomb.
