Both of them sound terrible without tail pipes.

I agree tailpipes always clean up the sound for me. It just sounds better with tailpipes. This car still sounds neat though

This is how you do an exhaust video. Great title card too

Fair play I couldn't see any leaking, even though there's no clamps. Lol (ex exhaust fitter)

The welding is pretty sad looking but it's a start. You have to start somewhere I guess. Keep practicing you get there

Hows the drone at cruising speed my fox is annoyingly bad at 65-75 with flowmasters

Not terrible in comparison to the 44s. I’m sure the axle dumps have a lot to do with that. Having tailpipes definitely makes it better, but I prefer the dumps even with added drone.

I'm glad you just saved me $300 on the Spintech mufflers. The 2 chamber Jegs Flowmasters are too loud for what I wanted on this car, and I had been thinking about Spintech. Nope, going with Dynomax super turbo.

I had the super turbos on mine. Changed them out for the super 44s. The turbos had no build up on acceleration. It sounded pretty dull compared to the 44s

I think the 9000s are great for the “Loud means fast” mentality, but if you’re not into going moderately deaf, the 6000s sound much better.

@drpurple9931 I went out for the 1st drive with the 9000s. It's way louder than I anticipated it to be. It sounds great from 1000-2500. But after that, it screams

Like not ideal for a daily driver car. I'll end up changing then eventually. Not sure what to go with. I enjoy how much "louder" the cam sounds. But it's like as loud as the coyotes now.

Oh I agree, I love loud but as a daily driver I think it would get old pretty fast. You can hear a definite change in tone at the 2300-2500rpm range during casual driving. At least the cold start sounds better than the coyote lol.

Flowmaster give it that metallic popcorn sound "The Flowmaster sound". But the Spintech's give it that deeper bassline note added onto the popcorn.
