    HI very helpful video ..but aren't the traxxas LEDs rated 16v for each front and rear? so your step down is outputing 16v to both so are you just essentially sending 8v to each LED which means their not at 100% brightness capacity?

    What are the measurements for the box. I was thinking of doing the same thing with my set up. Adding a console in the rear to go with the 10’s under my back seat. You have the specs for the box build?

    I could imagine, especially having to make sure the front console lids would open and close. I was thinking of a 16x15x 18 tall but doing as you did with the sides where it clears the front driver and passenger seats in the back for more space in the box. Will try some options out and see what I can do. But nice box How did that box blend with the box under your rear seat? And frequently interference ? Did either box drown or over power the other boxes bass or did it blend nicely?

  • @jessemichalies
    @jessemichalies5 ай бұрын

    @jeffkennedy5257 I don't hear any issues myself with the 2 boxes sense they are both sealed. The box with 3 is a lot louder than the 2 under the seat. I put the angles in the back top of the box so a person could still sit there and wrap their legs around it. If you find me on Facebook I can send you more pictures I've got of the build. I haven't watched this video in a while so I'm not sure what I put in the video.

    Cool! I came across two batteries like this on a used camper that I am getting and immediately saw issues with how they were wired. I did not see a current going through either battery as it was and two wires were disconnected. While I know how electricity works and flows, it looked like they were supposed to be linked as a series, but wanted to be sure I was linking them back together correctly. As soon as I saw how you connected them, it made complete sense. A no brainer at that point. Someone had delinked the two batteries from each other for what ever reason. Now I can handle the rest and likely need two new batteries. No sweat. Thanks!

    Hey man, that is a great servo, I run mine at 8.5v on a Castle B.E.C. I did want to mention to you that in your video you didn't show the setup of your radio. Meaning, the servo that comes with the XRT is a mechanical servo, the perfect pass is a Brushless Digital Servo. You may need to tell your TX that the servo is digital as the default is always mechanical. Once I sussed that out on my Futaba system, that servo came to life. It was so much smoother and faster. At 8.5v, set up as digital that is an EPIC servo!

    3:20 Im confused about "I had to take that out." Are you saying that you had to remove it temporarily to get the servo in and you put the bearing and that housing back on, or...are you saying that you had to remove the bearing from the housing and reinstall just the bearing housing (without the bearing)?

  • @jessemichalies

    If I remember correctly, I think I slide the bearing on the vitavon shaft first, then slide it into the plastic holder for the bearing. I hope that makes sense.
