  👌👍😁..that's friggin awesome!!!... I absolutely love rallying,!!.. I am a keen motorsport photographer and have had a go at rallying back in the 80s, me and my old pal used to drive a Mk1 Escort!!!!... we certainly weren't the fastest!🤣..but, we thoroughly enjoyed having a bash!!😁👍.... I would love to have a drive-in an up to date rally car!!!.. this sounds good!!!👌👍👍😎🚖🏁

  These are definitely some of the fastest roads in the championship and this stage is not even the fastest, we'll upload the other one where we reached 110mph. For the race we averaged 59.75 mph and in this stage it was a 63.65 mph avg.

  Thanks, yeah what you're hearing is only what we hear in our helmets, where car noise is minimal. Appreciate the feedback to improve the videos!

  We had issues with wheelspeed sensors so the ECU was trying to calculate gear from GPS speed and rpm which is less accurate as you saw!

  Oh we have all the numbers :) It's not cheap. I'd say 5 years ago we probably built it as it began for close to 35K on top of the car value. Nowadays just in all the parts that are on it would take 50-65K to build one like it (stuff has gone up a ton and we've kept investing in it). If you are interested in building one hit us up, we know exactly how to!

  @@puravidarally Thanks for the info! Ive got an 04 WRX Impreza STI, but I really like it as the mostly stock car it is. Plus I don't yet have the money to replace parts that would inevitably break😂. However, in the future I would love to buy another car to work on. Watching your videos has got me interested in a hatchback like your fiesta! Also, congrats on the stage win!

  I’ll be honest you’re driving it like it’s *your* car (which I know it is) but seeing as how expensive it is to run these days I can’t blame you at all. One crash and you could be out of the whole thing. Must be nice for those with unlimited funds who have a spare car and the option to just purchase another anytime they want! As long as you’re having fun that’s all that matters, nice video man keep up the good work!

  Ah, mud! I had the same issue in my last event, they first and only time I have started to feel car sick.   How much grip is there? It looks grippy as, but going by how you're driving them I'm guessing they are actually pretty lose and slippy? I'd love to drive on those roads one day, they are so open and flowy, without being silly fast. What speeds are you doing?

  This year it was pretty grippy, although very loose so outside the lean line is very slippery due to small rocks. For this stage our avg was 59.87 mph, the fastest car in the rally did this one with an avg of about 77 mph. Speed is on the mid right display. If you ever want to race in the US, let us know, we rent Fiestas for Rally!

  I have never seen virtual chicanes as a feature. Are they common? Also was it actually mud that caused your vibrations? Nice teamwork!

  Yeah they are pretty much the only type of chicane used in the US, the WRC will start testing them this year. It's so much easier and cheaper for organizers and can work as a safety measure or to lower speeds on stages that are too fast to insure. Yes the mud was accumulating way too much on the rear wheels and making vibrate a ton.

  Absolutely unacceptable! They were a little more patient before the bump than I would have been and if they pulled that Shit back when, I can say with confidence that they would have been waiting on stage to be towed out instead of in the control zone at finish. Just curious if you were running Rally Safe and if so did you push the Pass button?

  Yeah we pushed for miles the push to pass button, their unit received it at least 4 times over 3 miles. They didn't know how to use it we believe

  Completely unacceptable behavior. A ten minute penalty is also a joke as a punishment. They knocked you out and therefore should have been forced to retire. At the very least, Dickhead McGee in the Escort should pay for a new windshield and radiator. But the guy has already proven himself to be a colossal asshole, so I highly doubt he will.

  They are lucky you kept your cool. A pit maneuver wouldn't have gone a miss there in the heat of the moment. That is just bad all round. Hope they got penalised? I'd be making sure everyone knows what happened...

  That driver is a total jerk for blocking you. Looks like a rear wheel drive Escort maybe? Not even in the same class as you, so what the hell is his problem? Should have let you pass. Probably cost you a good 20 seconds or more there.

  Yeah actually cost us even more, likely a minute and also we had to retire as a rock punctured our radiator and we lost coolant, so we parked before engine got hot

  @@codylightwind9457 yeah they were penalized 10 min, unfortunately we retired the first day so this cost us 38 min in missed stages penalties and put us 6th in the class in the end. We'll come back stronger!!

  It's a stock dash that has been flocked and modified to remove unnecessary parts.
