    My wish ( I am at the beginning of this video and not sure if I will watch it all). Who am I to grant my wish upon others? It is not something that is my place to do so. My wish would stem from my own experiences, beliefs and so much more. Only YOU know what is best for YOU. Therefore my wish would be to grant everyone the same ...............2 or more wishes and the final wish begins the cycle again-passing it forward............... We can all continuously manifest every wish we desire and then have that process continue. Then as this continues we will realise that this is what we have been doing all along --. It has always been. The wishes will collide and conflict and even join positively as others wish for things each individual might or might not believe, desire or agree with. Then we might wake up and understand that we have all been living simultaneously as one.

    If judo alredy gives all the tools for ground fighting, why would I need to train Bjj? If all I need is train more Newaza. Judo also defends better against takedowns and, in my opinion is better even for self defense, because, if i can perform a good throw on an agressor, I woudn't even need to fight in the ground, once the impact against a hard ground may be enough to knock it out.

    BJJ - Basically Just Judo

  • @zpetar
    @zpetar5 жыл бұрын

    Modern judo is just shadow of real Judo is. Complete system of throws, bars, grappling... It's because Judo is gone Olympic route. Lots of techniques are banned because they are too dangerous, leg throws are banned because they look similar to wrestling, because officials wanted to make Judo look more attractive... Many coaches today teach only whats necessary to win in official tournaments and nothing more. Judo really needs alternative federations where people can compete within full range of techniques or they will be forever lost.

  • @AlexanderPews

    Christian i do bjj and I totally see your point, I usually sum them up like this: Judo -> Specialist in thows and takedows, can be really good on the ground. BJJ -> Specialist on the ground, can be really good in throws and takedowns. However BJJ is much more complex than you think on the ground, just like Judo is much more complex standing for BJJ guys. Its not enough to just do Judo and think you will beat all bjj fighters (even though some exceptions have been made). In bjj community we usually say that a black belt in Judo = blue belt in bjj, if he only trained in Judo. I see your comment is one year old so im late, but I recommend you try both and see which one you like. Also I recommend everyone to check out this video on this guy who has black belt in Judo, what he thinks about bjj: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y2em0K2LhMTOcqg.html

    message me if you want to know the meaning of life. We are created from one soul, the video is misguided brother. If it is the purpose becoming the Other to finding that there's no Other, why don't they describe how it is that they went on that journey. Does Man think he is omnipotent? "Other" Created him from semen then he takes Him as an enemy. If He is that important let him wish for death so he can have Ethernal life( the blissful life ). Isn't this movie mixing truth with falsehood. Something God almighty forbade. Do not do this.

    So what is the meaning of life from your point of view?

  • @albertfcb6654
    @albertfcb66543 жыл бұрын

    Maybe man isnt any more important or unimportant than any other life, and then the question is if life itself is any more or less important than anything else, maybe important and unimportant doesnt exist except for in our minds. In my opinion we should take that step to say that everything we believe even if its modern science, religion or whatever is mambo jambo for sure, only there to serve our comfort right here. So that, in my opinion, also is the case for anything u would message us about the meaning of life and anything they said in the video, total mambo jambo/bullshit, except for if it is seeing that it is all mambo jambo/bullshit, that would be not mambo jambo but neutral and "unimportant".

    thank you for your answer :) . Im really interested in this move and do want to add it to my newaza stuff. Its standing version as sutemi waza is called ude gaeshi if i correctly remember its name. However, i do concern about the possibility of getting hansoku make for performing this move since, as you can see, it belongs to the kansetsu waza, and its basically a "throw" combining with an armbar. Even the narrator in this vid states clearly: "throw yourself down and force the uke to rollover". Any thing combining a "throw" and an arm bar or arm lock will result in immediate disqualification im affraid :( .

    +Bob Belson (JEW-JITSU) I started judo a couple of weeks ago and we focus on the ground more than we do on the throws and I'm glad we do. I've been kickboxing for a couple of years and I wanted to get into BJJ but there's no where around where I live that does it, so Judo was the next best thing and I love it.

    Mark Bee I dont think the Gracies ever claimed they invented many of the pins, chokes and joint locks but yes BJJ also uses some Judo techniques. Where you see a Judoka is pinned a BJJ guy has already escaped, its the strategy and techniques in BJJ on the ground that are different and far more advanced. Note that it was called Kano Jiu-Jitsu back then, Jiu-Jitsu meaning gentle art, Ju do (the new term) gentle way, and Judo is developed from the Japanese Jiu-Jitsu used by samurai. Therefore the word Judo is "fairly" new, Kanos Jiu-Jitsu, Maeda taught Gracies became Brazilians Jiu-Jitsu.

    Every real Karate Master has the right to change some little details in the way of his own spirit. Thats the way of meijin since many hundred's of years. Sosai also was changing a lot of things in kihon and kata, also Kancho Matsui and so on. The kyokushin-spirit is much more important - and Matsushima has a lot of it. Maybe, because he was a real "uchi deshi" of sosai - long time bevore the 3-years-of-training-uchideshi-programm was founded. What ever: because of this spirit kancho matsushima's teachings are pure Kyokushin. And not "his own style", as you suggest.

    most of the bunkai is the same as the styles which the katas are taken from. honestly the techniques that come from kata aren't ones your going to use in a fight any way, unless you learn to use them in full contact sparring your most likely going to forget them in a real fight . how you spar is how you is how your going to fight . anyone tell you different is living in a fantasy world

    Not really, from what I've read, they used what Maeda had taught them, along with whatever else they had learned for street brawling ,challenge matches and, self-defense. Judo is more than techniques. It's moral and, character development, physical fitness, an entire philosophy, along with sport and, self-defense. Judo is for making better people. The Gracies were only doing the physical part and, whatever philosophy they've developed came during the last 40 years.
