Another another note: All foods except grain can be brined and pickled. Add a bucket of vinegar to a barrel of sea water to get brine. Food goes in brine, then goes in vinegar to pickle. Pickled foods last for a LOOOOOONG time when LEFT IN THE VINEGAR. You should basically pickle everything and be pulling it from barrels full of vinegar. Grains last longest in their refined form

Something of note about the food, unless TFG changes it from TFC, light level and ambient temperature has massive effects on your food decay. Highly recommend creating a dark underground area, like a root cellar. I say this because I've noticed you tend to store your food out in the direct sunlight in a warmer climate. Decay is compounding and should be trimmed off your foods regularly.

When glassblowing you can pick up the pipe straight into offhand with f key. Then you don't need the tongs.

To do proper prospecting once you get a proper reading dig a straight corridor. Find the point you get a biggest reading. Let's assume you got large sample. Find the spots where reading change from large to medium. Find the middle between those points and at that spot make a corridor across.

Repeat the process for the 2nd corridor. Once you do you have the location of the middle of the vein in horizontal directions. And the vein is either below you or above you. You can repeat the process in the vertical direction to pinpoint the depth. Or if you happen to get a reading while digging vertical shaft you can start with finding proper depth.

So putting the mulch in the botany hopper does make whatever crop grow faster, but you can grow the mulch itself so that you dont have to keep crafting it

There is a recipe for the pedestal. You gotta put the ingredients on some (or all, depending on the recipe) and in the center usually a seed or an catalyst of a sort (like an ingot). Then you hit the lever or a button to provide the redstone signal and it crafts :) It can be also automated for a larger quantities when needed. Usually with ender IO or dire's lasers, etc.

You can configure your thermal machines to make them output to each other or a chest, and that will make it more efficient for when you’re moving things from one to the other or even automatically inputting things into a chest!

@@Dragonium10190 You can grow the mulch in botany pots AND use it in place of dirt for a 10% growth speed boost. Make ALL the hopping botany pots with mulch growing in them. Trust me, you'll be thanking yourself later as you progress.

One thing I would like to see in the future is preserving food, as I want to make sure I have a stockpile for the winter, if you want more areas to explore in terms of guides/topics.

If memory serves me right, and this was how it was in GregTech New Horizons, which may be different but is still worth checking, is that you cannot make coke from charcoal. However, coal itself, the stuff you mine, can be used for coke. I am not sure however when you'll need coke or if things changed as I have not gotten to that point in progression, but just thought I would drop this in here incase you did not know. Another tip for the coke ovens is that, if memory serves me right, cactus and sugercane have interactions, if you find them, and the mod did not change anything that is. Keep up the good work.
