    That Suction Hose is not any good now. As for the expansion valve, likely but not 100%. ANY obstruction will cause the same issue. Obviously does not have a Low Pressure Switch.

    I checked my purge valve. No leaks and I replaced it anyway. It opens and closes with obd ii command. I erased code and it came back. Slight lack of power, but no vacuum leak code. What should I test next? Smoke test back to canister? @auto repair

    If there electrical circuits codes then should check for intermittent open circuit or fuel tank pressure sensor stuck

    So basically you have located a blown fuse and just replace it without knowing what caused it to blow? Good luck with that.

  • @beymaster102
    @beymaster102Ай бұрын

    Well obviously you can see he was testing to see if the reason it blew is still current but it wasn’t so that’s why he continued Maybe it’s intermittent Yk? Electrical isn’t all that easy once you get to the more complex diagnostics

  • @Schrimpieman
    @SchrimpiemanАй бұрын

    That test is "informative" but inconclusive. That little 4-watt bulb will only identify continuity (or not). Better to use a 55-w bulb. Stays off? No continuity. Glows dim? It's powering whatever is downstream. Glows BRIGHT? Short.

  • @AutomotiveServiceExcellence
    @AutomotiveServiceExcellenceАй бұрын

    If 4watt light up then go for 55 watt

    Thank you for the video of actual diagnosis vs just changing parts. If you could shut the engine off to talk that would have been better for me but I heard enough of what you said to get the point. I’ve replaced my rack and the pump 2xs in a month so I have to have a leak to track down since mine comes out the top too.

Good to know how to replace clips and will look into getting new ones for a 2001 echo 💕👍 appreciated the close up!

    I disconnected the security or alarm box underneath along with 10 AMP fuse so no more alarm but the door buttons don't lock and unlock. I don't have a FOB just a key so I have to lock the doors by locking the driver's door from the outside. Any idea why the door lock/unlock button on the door side does not work now????

    No wonder you got leaks and problems because you used generic fluid your rack is also probably leaking internally Honda vehicles are very sensitive to type of fluids used especially automatic transmissions
