Thanks, but that's not very helpful as long as Samcart doesn't integrate with Clickfunnels, i.e. you will currently need a 3rd Party e-mail service other than clickfunnels or fiddle around with zapier workarounds.
But does this mean we're about to be flooded with ebooks that are actually just packaging something you could get directly by asking ChatGPT?
Ignore what everyone else is doing. Ignore what the "market" is doing. Make an ebook that solves ONE problem for your customer. That's your sole focus.
What about changing the price of a downsell and seeing how much it currently is? and changing the price
If I'm reading this right - Upsell #1 is $100. Upsell #2 is that same product but slashed down to $50. Yes, 100% that can work. Or you can make Upsell #2 a payment plan so you can collect more revenue.
Awesome video. Would it be wise to have a whole shop based on that model? Every product in the shop is Pay What You Want?
Test it out and let us know. Focus on selling one product at a time though. Lead with one and then use upsells and order bumps to offer them more options.

Yep! Everything is translatable. While our team can only talk to you in English, you can make the checkout in whatever language you need!
This seems to be working only on a browser level. I didn't see any server based connection there, isn't this going to be blocked anyway if it's done this way?
While you're right this is just browser-based, it doesn't mean it's automatically blocked. The gist we get seems like anywhere from 10-20% of visitors' devices are blocking browser-based cookies. For that, we also have our Facebook Conversions API you can use for server side tracking. You can use both this and CAPI together, but just make sure you watch your FB Dashboard carefully for sales getting reported more than once. Facebook/Meta claims to be good at de-duplicating orders, but always good to monitor. Create a new product, set it to Pay what you want, link it to your course. You can have multiple products linking to the same course. Great way to test different price points, payment options, copywriting.

Nice update!! QQ: I heard on a podcast that Samcart integrates with more than just the Thinkific and Kajabi online course platforms. But those are the only ones I see on your /integrations page.
The better question is why does Stripe not make these videos? Why are they just doing these things and acting like they don't have hundreds of employees capable of making videos without ambiguity and interpretation?
Same way Adobe isn’t making a video to explain their cancellation terms. They want it but want be able to remove you when they want and say “oh but we told you”

Set a price. Test it. Raise it or lower it. Test it again. See which price point brings in the most sales (or your best customers).

I see completely different problems with Stripe. In the EU, as a merchant, as long as you ask for the CVV when billing, you always have the guarantee that the CC providers, whether Visa or Mastercard, will pay for the loss in the event of fraud actions, i.e. reimburse you as a merchant the amount as part of the insurance. According to Mastercard and Visa, this applies internationally. Only if this happens via Stripe, Stripe does not pay out the insurance sum, i.e. the loss, and you as the merchant are left with the loss - you have delivered but not received payment. Stripe collects the insurance but does not pass it on to the merchant! This is why Stripe has a very bad reputation in Europe.

I find that in Google Analytics about 30% of my traffic is attributed to "Direct" traffic when it's very definitely not - ie. it is paid or social or organic or email etc. I've set up Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 under best practices, but still the problem persists. Does it have to do with your Marketing (optional) settings as the bottom of the general settings?
What you're experiencing is pretty normal from what we gather. Google doesn't always know where someone is coming from. 30% being categorized as direct doesn't seem abnormal, but more of a "no tracking is every 100% perfect".

I just thought I'd leave this here: I've been using SamCart for about 5 years now and I've tried basically everything to get my conversion data to show up correctly on my FB Ad Manager. Results were always off in some way or other... But after setting up this new feature, I woke up this morning to find all my conversion data on FB showing up correctly for the very first time - The correct number of purchases along with the correct purchase conversion value, all matching perfectly with my SamCart dashboard 🤯After so much frustration with incorrect data, and having tried the various methods of embedding FB pixels in header boxes or trying to use the FB conversion API, it is soooo satisfying to see this new method actually working correctly. It's only day #1, but if the figures keep matching up going forward, I'll be very very pleased with this new feature. Thanks a million for adding it. A massive thumbs up to this one. Well done 👍

Thanks for this update. Do I still need to add the Meta Pixel Code in the 'Embed HTML/Scripts in Header' box in the SamCart general setting? And the same question for the 'Fire pixels/scripts after an order is completed' in SamCart Advanced product settings? Will using these multiple methods along with the new Meta events and conversions tracking cause data issues or double tracking? Or should I just stick to one method? Cheers

I JUST realized I dont' have the option for VARIANTS in Squarespace if it's a Digital Product! why? this is SO obvious! Why can't someone just create ONE PERFECT website builder and eCommerce??? haha... I have rebuilt my entire website in Google Sites and it looks JUST like my Squarespace website b/c I used the same fonts and images, mimicked each "section" on every single page - and Google sites is FREE, so now here I am trying to verify IF I should just focus on uploading everything on PayHip that DOES offer variations on a Digital product.
