This is perfect content to fall asleep to because it is very easy to picture the stories as they are told. Thank you for all the hard work you out into your narrations.
After almost 20 years of searching, I've found it...the best video on KZread
i am literally meursault
Grasping every little nuance and niche in this book has been a very difficult journey for me. I had trouble wasing the where of the when.
My God this sucks
This felt like it was read by Camus himself

Yes, Very nice
Too bad there wasn't a version that didn't have the Extremely Loud! intervals that wake me up as soon as I doze off. "😔😴😱" Please make a version that mutes the loud intervals.
I got stuck on how every single sentence started with “and” or “but” and I couldn’t focus on anything else
Look at my lawyer dog 😢 im getting beheaded 😭

Thanks for such a great compilation. Very much appreciated.
"Part's" 🤦♀️
This is part of the original audiobook recording of The Silmarillion. I’ve listened to it many many times. Maybe you could give credit where credit is due?
Who is reading it??? I need the name
@@Jimmy-jy5ol Ypu will just have to listen to it for a while 45 seconds. That’s about when the reader announces his own name. I’m listening to something else so I can’t do that for you. If your need is so great I’m sure you can figure out how to do that.
Fair enough I skipped to half way through. Sorry your life is rough hope it gets better.
I love Martin Shaws narration.

I have read more than 8 times this book, at the beginning t was hard to understand but finally I got a partial revelation that kept growing and growing, I am enjoying it this time with an American accent and it sounds great, I don’t cease to amaze to see how Lewis understand the essence of the moral universe we live in , it’s better than a map or a cruise control
Chapter 5: 1:03:34
The audio is a bit sketchy at times, but thank you.
You have such a great voice for audio!!! Which translation do you have?
This was probably done in the 50’s
Definitely on the spectrum
You definitely are!!
is this the entire book and no abridged version?
Yes
Life is meaningless. Yes, Im an absurdist.
Are you going to live by that? Camus believes that there is no meaning to anything. He believes everything is a dirty trick played on you by nature. Equality, human rights, justice, it’s all just some dirty trick huh? Why don’t you start killing people if nothing matters and life is meaningless? Why not rape? Why not steal? Why not litter? Start to live up to your own philosophy. That justification for not doing these things is your sense of right and wrong good and evil. Camus would say you shouldn’t have these morals, and it’s a lie. Is it a lie to you? Truly?
Thanks

I'm 14 and after just reading this for school I now act like camus. I wear sunglasses at school and shrug at everything in a laidback manner. Nothing matters we all die in the end anyway so why worry. Everyone thinks I'm so cool, I am.
ur so cool

U cannot be fucking serious get a grip 😂

Your coolness is all a self delusion

I can’t tell you how frustrating it is when I see books that I really wanna listen to, but the narrator can’t just talk normally. Just talk like you’re talking to somebody else at the other side of the table.
It’s AI narration.
I have to agree with you I got this from librivox, this is the person who did the reading Geoffrey Edwards, it was not A.I. I have a hard time listening to some as well. but it was all I could find.
@@Laurencita It is not an AI. Some people just have a weird reading style.
