Hi I wanna upgrade my prebuilt I have gtx 1660 and ryzen 5 3400g. I was looking at a rtx 3060ti or 3070. I’m not sure tho do I get second hand which is cheaper and I also don’t know what cpu to upgrade to. I’m a noob at this kinda stuff. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
Depending on your budget for the CPU look for a Ryzen 5 5600x new or second hand is good if you want to make the most of a new GPU. And should work with your current motherboard. If you need more help just reply to this comment 👍
Considering your R5 3400g is on the am4 platform I would recommend you invest into a R5 5600 or 5600x if the prices aren't to far apart. They will provide a good cpu upgrade for not to much money. For the graphic cards I would say that a 3060ti or a 3070 is a good upgrade. However depending on what type of games you are planning on playing in the future, these cards might not be great. If you are planning on playing graphic intense games or planning on upgrading to a QHD screen I wouldn't recommend either of these. Instead I recommend you buy a used 6600xt which will cost around €130. It is capable of playing all current games in mid settings with the exception of some graphic intense games that need to be played on low. When the next gen graphic cards come out I would recommend you buy a used card then with at least 12gb of VRAM. If you are not planning on playing graphic intense games then by all means buy a 3070. It is a high improvement over the 1660

If he was talking about the price and compare it to 5-10 years ago he would be correct. Unfortunately these days all these cards fall into the low-end to top low-end range. The mid tier market of today pretty much starts with nvidea 4060ti/3070ti or AMD 6700xt Meanwhile the high end pretty much starts with the 4070ti and RX 7900

I‘d personally skip on the 7900gre. When you want 60fps 4k the 7800XT is perfectly fine and cheaper and you get some additional games. When you want 80 to 100+ fps in 4k then the 7900XT is a super choice. It is almost as powerful as the 4080 and 300$ cheaper and also with more vram. This card could last someone over 10years in terms of performance.

I have tried many mice in the last 7-8 years, but G705 is the strangest mouse possible. It is impossible to hold the mouse in your palm, given the width and height taken from the length, the swelling at the back makes it impossible to grasp the mouse
