    Welcome to pure trance music! I’m currently working on the ambiences of the Avatar game and then I can check with the piano toturials, at least the best tracks of the game first. I don’t know when I will start these again for now. The avatar videos takes so much time already. Of these hidden musical gems, if you want, I can send you a wetransfer link soon via email with the BEST trance music I have heard over the decade, filtered in maps like spacy, epic, relaxing, sleepy, agressive & emotional trance. Mainstream music has gone soulless and shit for a very long time. Also in mainstream trance music for the past 5-8 years at least.

    Thanks! Is that certain ambience always played there or only at a certain time of the storyline? To be honest, that ambience probably gets uploaded in 20-45 days maximum, depending what I find in the meanwhile & the quality of the ambience. I am currently at 'Combined Forces' for recording all the story ambiences that only occur 1 time. I have at least 20 recorded ambiences that I still need to enhance & upload, with 3-5 of them are really good in terms of calmness or epicness. Hopefully I will get there soon.

  • @MikePietersen

    Surprisingly, I'm at the Giant's Bane now. There are actually 2 soundtracks of this: a more mysterious ambience played right before you speak to So'lek and enter the new Resistance for the first time, and the standard one played that is more calming that you mentioned. Will work on it soon. Sounds pretty good already on the PS5 headset.

    Youre welcome. Some random soundtracks are (partially) in the album of Pinar Toprak and some aren’t. First I thought all of these were track ID’s. @CapnQuarky in the comment section here uploaded the freemode ikran tracks raw on a 30min loop if you want to see the other ikran tracks. Will upload another enhanced ikran track another time when I have done some other ambiences and soundtracks again. There are sooooo many background soundtracks & ambiences to record and then enhance the audio. It would be a miracle if I finish everything before DLC 1. I haven’t even started yet on the memory paintings & the music from the clouded forest storyline

    Well, Ubisoft will need to step its game up to make that happen; more cutscenes at certain parts. You can still make cool edits with it, but then recording needs to be precise in terms of movement with the music & cutscenes for the pace and alignment that you are going for.

    @@MikePietersen I know what you mean. I've once tried recording the soundtrack for the Ikran Rookery quest, and found out that the music keeps changing due to quest progression and key moments. It's a shame the full version isn't on the official soundtrack. (Which is why I decided to record and upload it)

  • @MikePietersen
    @MikePietersenАй бұрын

    I just checked it, Nice! If you are planning to adjust the audio for future recordings (to make it more epic or relaxing for example) for 1 specific area of the game, here are some tips: The fact that the music changes a lot of times & dynamically, makes it hard for the edit to balance the sounds in terms of frequency & volume if it is all in 1 video. Because every EQ & Compression setting affects the whole track instead of a single instrument, unless 1 instrument pretty much occupies a certain frequency area or where it is the loudest for compression (Or only apply it to a certain area of the edit by automating this) Then it would be indeed a better choice to leave it as it is, as you have done. You can adjust this with the standard plugins in an edit program, like Premiere Pro, however it is not that easy as in a DAW like Logic Pro but it saves more time (make sure to use headphones as the main tool if you have one and earbuds as a 2nd check to balance it out) I also noticed that some ambiences are missing some 'airy' frequencies, having too much frequencies of something or have (massive) resonant peaks, because they are made for background ambiences of the game and not as soundtracks to be listened at a louder volume.

  • @CapnQuarky
    @CapnQuarkyАй бұрын

    @@MikePietersen Thanks for the advice! Audio and video editing is something I dabble with every now and then, so there are still a lot left for me to learn. For the audio bit I basically messed around with Audacity. I tried to amplify the volume for the quiet bit, but I couldn't figure out how to balance it out for the whole audio. It also made the quality noticeably worse, so I ended up leaving the volume as it was. I might need to look into other video editing software. I'm fairly comfortable with a free one I'm using, but I wonder if paid ones have a lot more functions and are more reliable overall.

  • @MikePietersen
    @MikePietersen25 күн бұрын

    You can also download certain software via torrents. For audio editing/production only (DAW): Windows -> FL Studio most popular I think, for MAC I use Logic Pro. Other DAWs are Ableton & Cubase. After that: learn to listen how certain frequencies sounds from that starts from 20-50Hz (lowest frequencies where the sub and rumble is) up to 8-20Khz (sisssss sounds and the magic sound effects are often here) and how dynamic something is (difference between the lowest and loudest volume). This way you can know what is too much or needed in a certain background ambience. Compare this to similar ambiences/music you want to achieve. Make sure the reference track is as loud as the one you are working on and then you can easily learn/progress from there. Also have a certain goal in mind: make it more relaxing or something else? Make sure after 30-45 minutes to take at least a break, because our ears will get used to music pretty soon & making changes after hearing certain parts over and over again will be less objective. If you eventually figure out which frequencies are too much or are needed and the same for the dynamics like I just said, you can achieve most of the improvement of the audio you want in a good & simple way. People can call this mastering in music, but I do not know anything about that with all the advanced techniques

    Hey thanks buddy, for almost all players you are right that this applies more to them what you described here. This playstyle is only recommended for players who wants to play the hardest way possible and wants more challenge. For example when they have completed the campaign for the 1st time. This was the case for me when I was just drown into the world and played what was right in front of me. Being underleveled, hard difficulty & no bellsprigs forces you to have good aim, movement & using environment as cover to survive in combat. In some cases, like Quaritch described in Avatar 1, you can only win some battles with pre-emptive attack. There is no room for error & time waste, otherwise you get overrun by the RDA. That sniper you saw hitting me at the slag pit, 1st hit is a 'warning shot'. 2nd hit you will die instantly.
