  Ive owned a stock d15b n they are exceptional for 1500cc i even had 4door 1 civic n pulled 😯but can see this 1 not stock str8 away with the 8rpm 😮😂mean d15b whatever u done 2 it ❤

  Don't worry bro, because engine without vtec is more powerful when you put vtec Minime = d15b2 non vtec block short block with vtec head from any d series vtec head, with this Frankenstein you make high compression for you engine ;)

  I have a non vtec Honda Accord 2002 DX and I got a vtec motor for it. Will it run fine without the vtec ecu? And will it pass smog? What about check engine lights? Appreciate the feedback thanks

  Because is obd1 p30 and obd1 wire for ecu, my car is civic eg not civic ek All eg is obd1 and ek obd2a obd2b

  I had a civic with a jdm d15, it was auto but I never heard a more loud aggressive vtec cross over in my life. I mean that thing pulled when on vtec, I miss that car lol

  I got one too with the cvt, with a cold air & k&n race filter the vtec sounds wicked 😅 pulls hella good for a tiny 1.5 as well.

  Only way you’re gonna make 500hp is on a fully built motor and billet block you’d be better off B or K swapping
