Spring water is not an over arching source of 'pure' water,as each spring will be different. The problem with spring water nowadays,is that they may be even more contaminated with pesticides than tap water, particularly TCE and PCE,which are both known to cause Parkinsons and Dementia. If you drink spring water, you need to check for these contaminants. My solution: I use tap water, filtered with a ceramic pot,and treated with colloidal silver. You can find how to do this on YT. Best wishes.

How about you go follow that delivery guy that brought you the "spring water" and figure out where the source of that water really comes from. Once you have done that come back and let us all know please!

In Sydney they put chloramine gas in our tap water i have a 5 stage reverse osmosis under bench filter with a chloramine reducing cartridge installed. Change filters every 12 months for around $90 it all depends on where ur located and the concerns with your specific tap water. Spring water is about $120 per month delivered and gets very expensive. Tap water in Japan is the best i have tasted anywhere in the world.

Dr. Ken Berry drinks reverse osmosis water and distilled water and says there is no evidence or studies showing that filtered water pulls minerals out of your body. I believed that it did for many years. Is this true or not? If so where is the proof?

Your mineral water comes in PLASTIC BOTTLES, there not BPA free so contain hormone disruptors & worst of all MICRO PLASTICS. Spring water would be good if you could collect the water yourself but I wouldn't recommend buying it in plastic bottles.

For those who are unaware, Colorado and California both use recycled sewer water which is combined into potable tap water intended for drinking, cooking and bathing. It has been dubbed toilet to tap. Therefore those residents should really use a water filter on their tap water.

This man has no idea what he's talking about specifically with bacteria. As if our piping system is not corroded with bacteria in itself and he blames it on the filter. Clearly he failed biology and I'm sick of baby boomers expressing their feelings instead of logic

Your theories on this subject are not very convincing: 1. Any bacteria present in the water dispensed from my counter-top reverse osmosis filter would be killed as a result of being flash heated to 95 degrees Census, which is the setting I have it set to dispense at. Furthermore, the filter is changed once a year anyway. Even if there were any bacteria in the water dispensed, this unit kills any remaining bacteria still present in the internal filtered water reservoir prior to dispensing it by subjecting it to UV light. 2. In terms of removing healthy minerals naturally present in the water, the level of minerals in clean drinking water is so low as to be dwarfed by the levels found in food. Effectively, when food consumption is taken into consideration, people drinking nothing but reverse osmosis water, or even distilled water, get effectively the same quantity of minerals as those drinking tap or bottled water, assuming both groups otherwise have a similar diet. 3. I'm more concerned by the many contaminants still present in tap or bottled water, including birth control hormones, fluoride or microplastics, than missing out on microscopic traces of minerals that might be good for me.

Doesn't worrying about bacteria in your filters contradict the official reason for adding chlorine into water, which is to kill bacteria? Although chlorine is not that great for you if you want your gut bacteria alive. It is also one of the big reasons for developing a bowel cancer. It gets worse where they add fluoride, officially to help with tooth decay. Fluoride is a neurotoxin, best to avoid if you want your brains alive. Also, there is zero scientific evidence that fluoride helps to keep your teeth healthy. I mean the real impartial science, not the paid for science. Read the label on your toothpaste, make sure it does not contain fluoride!

Interesting.... Thank you for the attempt, but you have a TERRIBLE water source. To have filters that dirty in 3 mo?!! I've never seen anything like that. You need to change your filters more often. The bacteria you develop in the filter would be minimal compared to tap or bottled. Do some research on distilled water. No minerals. If you want minerals use Himalayan salt. Eat fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, legumes and whole grains.

From my understanding. You need at least drink 500 liters of water a day just to get the same minerals that you can get in a piece of bread which is crazy to think :) Second, you can avoid those bacterial growth in the system by regular checking and replacing the filters as they recommends. And you can install a UV sterilizer to kill those bacteria in your filtered water just to be safe and they are cheap. I don't know about The third theory of drinking pure water takes away the minerals in your body. I don't think so? further research is required for this topics.

So you say if you'd own the spring somewhere you would just drink from it? Unfiltered? Spring water could be contaminated too. I've been playing in the spring when I was a kid and when the day ended, me and friends headed home going up the spring. We walked about 100 meters and found a dead rotten chicken in the spring stuck on some rocks. It was in the water the whole time. So even if you check how clean your spring is. There's still a chance someone took a leak in there or stuff like that. Drinking spring water from plastic bottles as presented in this video is also bad. Plastic bottle will impact the taste and purity of water in it. Water dispensers like in this video often have a filter too.

Liquids (especially water) are a poor source of minerals. Our physiology shows that nutrients and minerals are absorbed through the digestion of solids.

What a load of crap! the amount of minerals in unfiltered tap water is MINIMAL. Do you drink rainwater? well taht's pretty much devoid of minerals too and it's great for you. Just eat a good diet - leafy greens etc and you'll get your mineral needs. It's MUCH better to drink filtered water that has taken out the filth that they put in it like fluorides and chlorines etc.

Our water in Savannah is disgusting. We have sludge that builds up in our tap, our toilets and our drains. A water filter is a must and not just for drinking. Do you want to shower or wash your clothes or run your dishwasher without a whole house water filter? This guy would think twice about his 5-gallon jugs.

you should NOT be depending on water for your daily minerals. If you are... something is really wrong with your diet. I use ZeroWater, no more 'stomach' issues. My coffee tastes better, spaghetti, soup, etc. NO WAY am I ever drinking tap water again. I don't use under the sink / inline filters; just a 22 cup filter tank that I use to stock 8 gallons of water in plastic water jugs. As they get used up, we filter up more water and keep the 8 gallon 'buffer' replenished. The filters last us about 35-40 gallons. Works for us.

@2:55 You primarily consume minerals by eating fruit and vegetables, not by drinking water. Unless you eat highly processed junk food all the time like most Americans do, you shouldn't be worried about minerals.
